I just bought the 737-700 and cant find the HUD option anywhere in the FMC and don't even see the HUD hardware above either the pilots seating area . Any ideas on how to actually see the HUD and how to use it ? Nobody on youtube or forums has any information about how to actually get the HUD to show up ...
On the FMS go to PMDG SETUP MENU 1. Aircraft 2 . Equipment 3. Scroll to page 12 4. The HUD is all the options titled HGS. Select yes to those options. Thats it!
I was hoping for a more in depth instructional video on the actual setting up the control Module on the pedestal. There you can set up runway info and other information to which the HUD will use. Your video just covers the items you see on the HUD, which is good. Maybe do a part two of this topic to cover those areas? Thanks for the video.
Hello Joey ! How about HUD config tutorial for CRJ ? I haven’t found any information how to do it, checked user manuals. My only hope is you :) Or the forums
The link that I put in the description to the manual that I used to make the video about the 737 HCP is actually about the CRJ so you can use the information from that manual and also my video and apply that to the CRJ and it should work
It's over the top and information overload :) Anyway, I love user manuals and will archive this one. Often becomes handy in the future, might want to look up something. Besides, only like 2MB, just leave a copy on Dropbox.

That's actually a great suggestion! I'll need to do a little bit of homework to make it happen but I'll be sure to dig into it

@@JoeyPilotYT Very good, that’s the one I’m watching now :) It’s pretty basic, same information applies to several aircrafts.
I didn't see a flare cue? HGS SWA ilot here.
How to show hud? What key?
Their is a clickspot on the side where it is mounted to the roof of the cockpit, to the right
@@JoeyPilotYT Not in my pmdg does it work on the 737-800?
is the hud only on the 737-700? I can't find it on my -800
I can't find anything on how to activate the hud in the 800.
@@baileyjones159 did you check the fmc? There should be an option in there to enable the HUD
@@JoeyPilotYT Nope there is no option , Im in the same boat have the 700 and there is no hud that is even visible to swing down ...
Hello Joey ! Found on Internet HGS_00_Pilots Guide CRJ700 Bombardier, 238 pages ! Maybe you’ve got the same one :)
