Nice concrete pad! In the future I'm going to be building a shed for a my 4wheeler after watching this Andy I'm thinking about putting a concrete pad down so that the tires don't rot into the ground after being left all winter not that I don't plan on driving it because I do I just think it'll be better for the wheels.

Hey Andy, great video again, real interesting changing the JD front main seal and the pad looks great! The best part is, like many other viewers, I don't want the videos to end and when you say "ok folks that'll do it for this video" I've come to count on another 5 minutes of FF&F adventure!! Thanks for sharing so much of your busy day with us Andy!! 😊😊

I had a similar issue when a piston ring broke. A slide hammer comes in handy for seal removal. That is so much easier than replacing the PTO seal on a 40 HP tractor. Having the seal up off the ground makes the process so much fun!

That's a good size pad, and designed for the future as a bunk. Maybe not next year, or the year after, but it is designed for the future. 👍👍

Hiya Andy. If that’s the latest pn seal which visually it looks to be.. you have installed backwards. It should have read outside on the rubber section. Don’t ask me why they did this but they did.

One of the companies that I use to do work for had 3 Peterbilt's go down last week. They all had the high pressure fuel pumps lock up. Broke the cam and cracked the blocks. 2016s with 13000 hours on the clock. Glad I don't have to foot that bill. 3 550hp motors.

Someone asked how much concrete is in that pad, if its 160x115 @6 inch pour it would be about 340 yds of concrete,if its a 10 inch pour that would be 570,ish yrds. Not taking into account if it was a monlithic pad(haunch)! This is a roundabout guess!

I always told customers that we don’t mix cracks in our concrete. It’s the forces that act on a slab until it gains enough strength to resist cracking. Shrinkage is the worst thing. A good sprinkler for s out three days after placement really helps
