    Apple Cider Vinegar can also help with acid reflux. It doesn’t sound right but in my case I was on acid reducers for a few years and tried to get off of them. Antacids helped but didn’t seem to work as hoped. Discovered that as you age your stomach acid may not be as strong as in younger years and can also cause acid reflux. Started taking ACV capsules before meals and the reflux was minimized. Happy to see that it can help with blood sugar as well.

      I also have GERD and diabetes type 2 at the same time. I tried ACV liquid, but it seems to aggravate my acid reflux. Taking Nexium as needed but really doesn't like this medication. So, I stopped taking the ACV liquid. I used to be on intermittent fasting but doctor switch my diabetes medication to Metformin twice a day with food. I'm glad ACV Is available in capsules. So how many capsules are you taking? And are you taking it at any meal time or just at breakfast?

    I💕😍❤'ve been consuming ACV for 15 years now. My doctor had cautioned me about being at risk for diabetes. When I learned about ACV, I decided to add it to my routine. Growing up in a culture where vinegar is commonly used in cooking, I found it easy to incorporate. I consider myself a dedicated ACV enthusiast, drinking 5-7 tablespoons diluted in 8 ounces of water daily, and sometimes even twice a day. Within just 6 weeks, my blood sugar levels dropped by 30 points. On my cheat day, typically Sundays, I prepare a medium mason jar of ACV mixed with water to enjoy before heading to the theater, where I can indulge in a large popcorn and a diet coke guilt-free. It has been 15 years since I was warned of being prediabetic.

      Wow FIVE to SEVEN TABLESPOONS AT ONCE in just 8 oz of water. That's a WHOLE LOT MORE than 1-2 tb.. 😮😮. Guess it works if you got pre diabetes years ago and you're still good!!

      Also I read that it's bad to consume more than 2 tb a day because it can deplete potassium..

    I take 2 Tbsp ACV and 2 Tbsp organic lemon juice in a glass of ice water. I've gotten accustomed to the taste and it now tastes kind of sweet to my palate, easy to take. It's called "sucking it up" 🤣🤣 That said, I've had insulin resistance and I'm impressed with the blood sugar response and I'll start taking it right before my meals. Thank you! ❤

    I just put a table spoon of the liquid on my rice. If you look at many Asian dishes vinegar is a common side... and adding vinegar to their meals is common. So I just started doing that with my rice and no big deal, no big hit of taste or impact on the tummy, no expensive pills just ACV. Unless this video is an #Ad for the pills then well I get it.

    • @harrylazard805
      @harrylazard805 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you want to get the extra benefit of the "mother" bacteria in the ACV, you may kill it if the rice is still hot. letting it cool to room temp may provide you with some probiotic...

  • @whateverwhenever2246
    @whateverwhenever2246 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +17

    Worried about the acidity of vinegar attacking your tooth enamel?
    No problem. Immediately after drinking diluted vinegar, rinse your mouth out with a teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in a small glass of water. Don't swallow the baking soda, spit it out. Finally, have a rinse with plain water
    The alkalinity of the baking soda will help neutralise the acridity of the vinegar and help protect your teeth

    Like you, i couldn't stand the taste of acv with water..horrible. However, i can now take 3 tablesps in 300ml of sparkling water if I add some xyltol and just neck the damn stuff down quickly. I then get some normal water and swill and remains out of my mouth. Best thing to do is have a mug of tea ready so you can go straight to that after.

Actually taste good.. The apple cider vinegar with the mother in it has more nutrients or I should say micro nutrients
