    Imagine being able to do time travel and showing this to someone from 50 years ago. Really awesome work!

    Just started using medium, its lot faster than any other method out there; way more natural than a keyboard or mouse; this actually makes me enjoy modeling since I am a beginner

    How did you learn to move at this speed? Any specific resource you gravitated towards?

    Which HMD are you using?
    Also, is this kit-bashing or premade stencils?
    Or, did you create the stencils yourself to use in a kit-baah workflow?
    I've been thinking of adopting an Asus Zenbook Pro Duo and Oculus Quest or whatever better standalone/wireless headset releases to use with Oculus Medium in this type of workflow.

      P L A Y E R X X V I I . Probably an oculus headset since it’s an oculus exclusive, tho he could be using reVive, note that you can’t use oculus medium on a standalone oculus Quest (not powerful enough) unless you link it to a pc

      I think ScareFire200 has already answered your question (thank you!!!)
      and yes! I'm using Oculus Rift and my PC is a laptop with RTX2070 on it.
      I use a model that is already in Medium as a stamp.

      Do you use Oculus medium for professional work ?

    I’m new to 3D modeling... did you render this in oculus medium or other software?

    • @phalenx1867

      Last time i used it, Oculus medium is purely for sculpting and some mesh painting. Adding in lighting and emission and rendering will require another 3d program like blender or maya.

    awesome work man it looks fantastic!! how do you like modelling/sculpting in VR compared to computers? I imagine computers would still be faster

    • @kouji_tajima
      @kouji_tajima  4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      I like VR because it's very intuitive to model/layout. And it's actually faster to work in VR. I was able to model this work in less than 30 minutes. The only drawback is that my eyes get tired when I use it for long time...
