Please do Spartan Total Warrior someday!
Hey, uh, Serg? Hugger is the snake thing. Asophy is the big blob with the human head.
Can you do the original arcade version of this game?
O boy the real enemy of this game is the timer
04:55 Opa-Opa from Fantazy Zone :)
Yeah i saw it. Wondering how he got from a cute fantasy land to some gross meat cave.
The same easter egg is in the arcade version in the same boss.
how cute they kept the easter egg from the arcade version!
Here we have all these Geiger-esque abominations... and then there's Mr. Googly-eye Pachinko Spider bot...
Takapy seems to be the odd one out in that respect...
@@lancecurry7538 at least it still looks a bit creepy, the 1987 version looked like a stuffed teddy
Wow, the time limits for the bosses is pretty tight. You barely have any time to beat them
Indeed, and perhaps the most challenging of all, in fact(as if dodging enemy "bullets" and not taking any damages at all isn't enough!). I have only known some games with such challenges, and trust me, it takes quite a hell of feat to even complete it(and as you know too, even on Normal difficulty can be quite daunting). Only someone crazier than Shadowserg can complete them on even harder difficulties.
The orignal was the same as well if not worse
you ever wonder why these games where you fight aliens why the aliens are almost always pus-filled amorphous ooze beasts (or knock-off xenomorphs)
With a hint of phallic. XD
I guess you could either go Geiger or Lovecraft in those times, especially if you were the kind of industry to go for low hanging fruits.
You know what would make this game, as well as Alien Storm, more awesome? The answer is that the aliens from both franchises joined forces and the heroes from both games join forces to take them all down.
Opa-Opa just causally there as...spider eyeball thing explodes into a red mist.
Alien Syndrome: Children of Giygas.
NESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESSNESS-
Somehow this game is a little more terrifying than the original
I think is because of the music.
The second boss, Hugger reminds me of the turtle assface boss from Contra on the PS2.
This should've been a contra game or a connection to it
Took me forever to find the name of this game! It brings back childhood memories :)
Same i played this with my brother on our ps2
Man, what's with these absurd time limits? How is anyone supposed to kill these bosses with so little time?
Can it be played with two players? That would definitely ease the process.

That thumbnail is the biggest mood I've ever seen.
How is this correct.
Shut up kid
@@zairephenom1435 How about no, you absolute nadir of all intelligence.
Gotta say, I’m surprised how dark these classic tamed arcades have become. First Golden Axe, then Altered Beast, and now Alien Syndrome, man, Sega is evolving their gaming classics.
2004 was such a bizarre year for video games. This, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, and Gradius V gave me some disturbing dreams when I played them at the age of 7 on my PS2...
Shoot em ups in general
My god, these time limits are harsh. Except for Hugger for some reason, but that’s likely because you had that flamethrower and its crazy damage output, and King Core for some reason. But on Yocotie in particular, you had to use the damage from your smart bomb to kill the boss in time!
It took me a long ass time to figure out what this game was called. I used tobplsy it with my brother and we couldnt getbpassed the 3rd boss but my ps2 broke so I couldn't find this game. It feels good to finally remember what its called
That timer is so annoying! I hate when games use such a cheap way to artificially increase its difficulty, because all those bosses are so easy to beat
I wish they remade this. Alien syndrome works great as a 2 player twin stick shooter!

whew lad
Talk about a real close call! Could have been so much worse, in fact!
How do you even find these games?
he goes over to the frontier for research between vampire hunts
The game was remastered in to a Sega classic compilation on the ps2
The gameplay reminds me of Smash TV (maybe because it's a twin stick shooter)
Nice enemy design but that timer though.
Also was this game re-made for the PSP?
I used to play this game on my dad's ps2 with my best friend when I was younger, and it is still as terrifying as I remember.
*fuck*
5:50: GETTA LOAD OF THIS GETTA LOADOF THISGETTALOADOFTHISGETTALOADOF......
Did i traveled in time or this video ia really uploaded in 2019??
Sandeep Singh i don't get what you're trying to say
What a excellent birthday present.
6:53- Frieza is that you?
Strafe fire + independent directional movement (a la Smash TV and Total Carnage) would've been helpful in the original Alien Syndrome arcade port. ❤🎉
It's actually a pretty decent remake
10:38 how it feels to chew 5Gum
i wish there were action figures of this :3
Anyone else notice in the score breakdown after each fight, one section is "resque?" How did they manage to misspell "rescue" and not realize it?
okay, i love googly eye spider
which are the most disturbing to you ?
The Level 1 Boss. Looked like what I thought it looked like!
This game contains blood & gore
The true monster in those is the time and not the monsters them self's!
Man I really need a link to the OST of this game.
Anyone else here remember having to restart after running out of time at he very end or using 12000 continues to get through the last boss, or was I just bad at the game?
The timer looks like it would ruin this game for me. Always hated timed parts in games
No bad not bad... now for a serious challenge try playing the 1980s SNK arcade game Ikari Warriors, old PC game Rogue Master from Epyx or the 1990s PC Cyberia from Interplay with no deaths and full health! Now that my friend is ludicrous too achieve but marginally possible!
4:55 Opa-Opa at the top left.
Glad I never beat this game as a kid and had enough fun just killing slugs in the beginning... this would've scarred me forever
It was too badThank you
The thumbnail reminds me of seaman on the dreamcast
This is like contra adventure I play in (overhead camera)
What is this??
This is really cool
08:13 Did it just pop like a bubble...?
Normal mode???? U deserve better!!!!
i rember play another version fo that game for wii
The title of the game sounds like a diagnostic, maybe it is a (fictional) diagnostic.
If there were no time limits placed here, the boss fights would be easy. The badly textured bosses always stick to their patterns.
Thunder hoop strike back all bosses no damage next vídeo
It looks so weird! I prefer the arcade version myself.

Buenos dias hermano like si hablas español

見た目がもうアレなのですが…
Que clase de contra es este :v
Wtf
Wigawing
Im First Not A Big Deal
but the blue shell IS a big deal
The bosses in this look lame.. The bosses in the NES were nasty looking..
For a 2004 game the graphics are absolutly horrible and the music... ufff 😧
I don't think your remembering 2004 very well.
@@kyleorigliosso2276 A lot of awesome games with good graphics (for the time) are from 2004, want some examples?Halo 2, Half-Life 2,Far Cry, Silent Hill 4, Burnout 3: Takedown, Metroid Prime: Echoes, Ninja Gaiden ( for Xbox)
the boss are really well design but the 3D polygone nature of it doesn't do it justice.
do it in high res 32bit color pixel art animation and it would have looked amazing.
