I found that using a small, pocket screw driver helped with getting the pull rope into hole.

Ive got one that looks just like that motor but it is on a Murry Frame, Briggs&Stratton 500 E Series and their are no visible top or side bolts on it anywhere? I need to change the pull rope.

Not sure what you have. But the top cover might be clipped in place.? You might have to remove it to get to the bolts, just my guess

hello, my lawnmower was out of gas, went to replace the gas and poured gas in the oil tank instead. Yikes! I drained both oil and gas and replaced it, now pull cord won't pull, no slack at all. What can be done?

Make sure the brake release up at top of handle is pulling the cable to release flywheel
