Really great video, alot of important topics to think about.
I wrote my character Markaern, to be similar to me so I could use a little bleed to fuel my RP, mainly because im a less experienced roleplayer and I hope that will make it easier for me to 'connect' with them. I think check ins sound great too.
That's great! As long as you are aware of why you are feeling certain ways during and after roleplay it will seem more like an actual game and therefore, actually be fun!

Great video, I experiended crazy bleed on my last Lorien trust Event when my first major character died during a heavy night time encounter to a Petrify affect. Lots of crying and very confusing emotions from myself and the people around me during my characters funeral.
I found LARPING is a very intense experience when character loss is involved, they may be "fake" or "make belive" but you are very much loosing apart of yourself that you now cannot be/act again. Never thought I would react that way but the emotions fully over took everything in the moment.
On a side note, I hopefully will be joining empire one day but still unsure as the play style and day to day look of the system feels very different from what I like with the Lorien Trust being very random encounter/danger from attack both pvp&pve.

Yes, no matter what Roleplay game it is, bleed can happen and it affects everyone differently.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) Empire has a strict no filming policy. There are some old videos of the battles about on TH-cam, we have many videos describing interactions and gameplay on our channel.
Would love to try Empire, but its trying to sort out kit that packs small enough on a motorcycle. In relation to bleed, I have been seeing Mental Health First Aid becoming more and more relevant in larp.
Yes some kind of mental after care should be a thing. This conversation becomes similar to safety tools in Roleplaying games. There is a portion of players that have never needed them so therefore don’t see the use in them. But they should still be there for those of us that do. ❤
There is definitely a contingent of players that turn up on motorcycles! We have players in our group that fly over from the continent every event, the game can definitely be done on limited packing space!
