    There's nothing like the sheer beauty of watching a pro doing something that's so easy to screw up (no need to ask how I know this) and making it look so simple :)

    I have a 2023 mini cooper s 2 door with a frame around my windows. I know the window shifts when opening and closing, whats the best way to mitigate that? When in the open position it shifts down a tiny bit, would i cut my top then line up the bottom again? Or What would the cutting sequence be

    your going to have a 1/2 in gap at bottom because window moves up when you close it on my 07 the window moves when u open down 1/4 in then when closed returns to top

      Jeffrey Spatola the latch on the door was "tricked" allowing the cuts to be made as if the door was closed.

    How can I go about tinting windows that has a dot matrix trim. Should I just tint over it or should I just cut the tint to fit inside the trim? Let me know, just starting out and need the help.

    • @WindowTintingBusiness
      @WindowTintingBusiness 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kane Harrison back windows and quarter windows typically have matrix lines, with these you want to trim 1/8th of an inch just outside of the line. Some cars the film will lay down over it and some won't and will leave what looks like air around the entire border but it's normal. Sometimes triple zero steel wool during cleaning helps.

    Great job, but ya gotta be a little more gentle on those windows w/o frame or support for the side or top.. don't want that thing to drop from too much force on the motor or tracks. great job though!!

    Great vid like the rest of your channel videos.What type of Suntek film do you use?Would you recommend Suntek High Performance Series for a proffesional job that will last?

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Johny V we mostly use Suntek - Standard Pro. For a window tint job that will last more than 6 years (color stability wise) is recommend their Carbon line. It carries a true lifetime warranty on color stability.

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Max el kacemi
      20"x100'- for most doors and stationary side windows.
      40"x100' for larger side door windows (f150) and mainly rear windows
      We carry those sizes in all percentages

    To be honest, when I saw that this was a pro job, I was surprised that he was getting the entire interior door wet…..I would imagine that he would put something down so that the door handle and things would not get wet like that

  • @chamrouen9131

    Would I able to put the tint on vertically if it's enough to cover the window, instead of horizontally like you do in the video?

    • @WindowTintingBusiness
      @WindowTintingBusiness 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      chamrouen it's not recommended because you would have to shrink the fingers horizontally instead of vertically. it can be done but even seasoned tinters have trouble with it.

    • @TS3958
      @TS3958 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it would have to be a cling film, which is not recommended, but it's possible.

    hey what up man i have a question? can you tint windows in cold weather ?

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ricardo navarro yes you can absolutely. Just have to do the job inside where there is heat and make sure all edges are heated enough where they are sealed and won't pop up with bubbles. Using an infrared heat lamp on the outside of the windows after tinting them will increase the drying time but don't over heat them.

    Too bad there will be a gap on the bottom when the door is closed... also he nailed the paint with the razor blade.

    • @WindowTintWarriors
      @WindowTintWarriors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan Harman hey Ryan! Thanks for watching. There will not be and was not a gap on the bottom when the window/ door was closed. As far as nailing the paint, if you could highlight that time stamp for reference.
      Thank you! Happy New Years
