It will turn brown and crusty in storage, or mine did anyways. I store my trees in my attic which has no heat/cooling. I don’t know how it would hold up in a climate controlled storage area. I ruined my $300 tree doing this 😢😢 **** I have tried both baking soda and also flour….
I would probably try baby powder, if you are not allergic to the smell of it. Just to make sure you'll spray it with water properly, not too much, just enough, otherwise it will don't get stick and it will make a huge mess on your floor

The tree looks good but that powder adhesive will it get sticky with heat from the lights or heat it up and release any fumes? Just curious

I haven't tried this but I would be replacing the flour for baking soda, I'm scared it might mold as I live in hot and humid weather.
