Honestly, the hotel is really nice if you just don't look at it
There’s a way to do a themed hotel and have it still be comfortable. The owner could have done a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing car themed hotel for a fraction of what he probably spent on this design. Things like rooms themed after classic cars, with the really nice rooms themed and named after famous cars. Photos of classic cars in the rooms and halls with some info about them. If this is a thing, the chairs could have been seats from old cars that are still clean, nice looking and comfortable. For the amount he spent on those jacuzzis, I’m sure he could have arranged for it to happen.

This one in particular seems to target a way too niche demographic. With Disney, pretty every parent with children who watch their stuff, which is basically everything, is their target demographic for their themed hotels. But how many people can there possibly be who are obssessed enough with fancy cars to pay 700+ dollars to stay at a place like this. Certainly some, but enough to sustain the place? I doubt it, even if it was designed much better.
I mean, certainly if you were obssessed with fancy cars, you'd spend your money on the fancy cars, or going to see the actual cars, not staying at a place that's just themed that way. Unless you just have that much money to burn.
There are just better themes that appeal to way more people and cost much less to design. And also themes that make way more sense for a place to stay at.
I feel bad for the guy at the beginning, he probably was camera shy, and just wanted to keep his job 😂

I've stayed in probably hundreds of hotels over the years and in my experience a new holiday inn off the highway is usually way nicer than expensive hotels downtown. At least there is consistency. With 'luxury' hotels its always a crap shoot as to whether it will be nice or a shit hole.
Well, to be fair, the same analogy could apply to fast-casual restaurant chains vs. independently owned restaurants; I mention this because this TV series by Gordon is deja vu to me considering his previous Kitchen Nightmares

To be fair I loved how this place is set up, I WOULD like a jacuzzi in the living room and I like the red. It’s waaaaay too expensive for what it is tho, and the room service is a joke for the price. Even if it’s in a ridiculously expensive area or something.

I forgot to mention this but after Ramsay renovated the hotel, the owner switched it back to it's original look right down to the paint and bedsheets.
