That Leslie 122H sure sounds warm, like pouring syrup over pancakes. The vintage drum machine takes me back to the late 70's when organs were sold in malls with the organist playing in front by the door with the beat machine. Like the 2nd tune drum programming. Better than a metronome and more musical!
Fantastic. I am speechless....lost in the sound....the warmth and brilliance. Thank you Jim...seasons greetings from the white mountains (Switzerland).....Tim
Great! Beautiful Hammond rythm machine, very very tastefull. I love this joyfull organ sound and I love Christmas songs too. Bravo Jim! Love from Italy
Love it, Jim! The drum machine is cheesy cool! This is the first time I've heard the new Leslie 122H and it sounds great! I'm still getting used to my new Leslie 3300. Of course, the B-3 is the real deal! Watching your video is like having milk and warm cookies on Christmas eve! Smooth!!! Merry Christmas, my friend!
Wow! Love the performance and sound! Thanks also for that camera view. Great to also watch how you master this beautiful instrument and it’s sonic capabilities. The vintage Hammond drum machine is a great companion. Never thought I’d say that. Hope you post more frequently in 2024. The only thing I miss about the pandemic is your live streams. Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I always enjoy your playing Jim...Love your rendition of the little drummer boy...Very soulful... Is that the key of D major?...Didn't know hammond had a drum kit...Now I must invest...Lol...Your 58 looks amazing...My B3 is a 55...
That's some amazing sound!!! All those sine waves of the organ have a very soothing effect, and the rhythms are also very nice. I didn't realize that a classic drum machine like that can hold its own so well.
Hi Jim. Thanks for posting this. Couldn't find your website up and running. Hope all is well for you. What projects are you working on? Any plans to get to Jimmy's in Portsmouth. NH yet? Or anywhere near Boston where I can come and hear you? On another note: A favor (if you can give me an opinion). I'm starting to gig out in a Steve Miller Tribute band and another blues/jazz band. I currently have the 2 manual Viscount Legend clone wheel organ and a Nord Stage 3 (which has a decent organ clone, but not great, and has semi-weighted keys- so not so fast under the fingers). I'd like to get a smaller, lighter organ clone. With a snappier keyboard action. Have you tried or heard any that sound more like a B3? Crumar MOJO? Hammond SK Pro? Roland VR 730? Roland Jupiter XM? Any others? You can't find anything in a store to try, so I need some expert advice. Thanks, and let me know if I can help you get into Jimmy's or any other way.Sincerely,Sean
Thanks for keeping the essence of Christmas Past alive today and into the future. As warm and cozy as a fireplace and marshmallows.
Beautiful!
BTW, a "Live From Jimmy's Basement" playlist would be cool.

Aside from the beautiful playing, I really admire the quality of your production. What cameras did you use for this?
Nice work, Jim. Happy holidays to you, your family, and your cats. Keep up the good work.

Great sound. Which adapter do you use to connect the 122H (11 pin input) to the old B3 ?
Please, what’s the name of that first song?
Christmas Time Is Here by Vince Guaraldi.
Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnice!
