If I can’t find a manual, I’ll get a cb7 auto and a regulated performance trans cooler, and a fresh torque converter. My goals 270hp so I think it’ll hold considering your bone stock trans held 400hp for 8 months
@@FroManGarage386 is it the stock accord f22b2 auto transmission? What was it like just normal driving in it after you turboed it? Was it still driveable? Was there an aftermarket transmission cooler used? Was tuning it easy?
@@thebigseal1 I’ve talked to him before, yes it was a stock cb7 auto trans, I’ve heard the f23 trans are unreliable, so if you want to go the auto route and your on a f of h series platform then go with the cb7 auto trans 1990-1997. as far as support for the trans this was a bone stock, 230k mile trans, last 8 months on 400hp, only lost reverse when he sprayed it 450hp. if your planning to go the 200-340hp range, and you have a performance trans cooler. I think it’ll last a while. The common failure points on these trans are, torque converter malfunction and overheating. a performance trans cooler can prevent overheating and, if you manually shift it that can prevent malfunction
