I love this. I love Nirvana, and it's great that the only time they reunited with the In Utero line up was with a Beatle that they all listened to as kids, Kurt included. I think Kurt would have been super excited.
@@MSD1000games I still think he would jam with him. It’s one thing to think this guy is an attention seeker, I don’t like him but another to, with cameras off, Jam and get to know someone like Paul. He would have been keen. Besides a single mention of Paul in relation to John Lennon, what other disdain did he have for Paul?
It's not the only time they reunited... Krist has gone on stage and played many times during Foo Fighters shows, was even featured on one of their songs, and they even did a special 'reunion show' a few years ago (for some charity I think)
Paul McCartney is one of the few people on this earth who understands what it was like for the members of Nirvana. It can't really be Nirvana without Kurt Cobain, but I do think he would approve of this collaboration.
NIRVANA AND THE BEATLES IN ONE STAGE. MY TWO ALL TIME FAVOURITE BANDS IN ONE STAGE. Well, the surviving members of Nirvana and Sir. Paul McCartney. This has been awesome!! they deserve the grammy they won. Glad to say I saw Paul a month ago!!
Watching this just brought a huge smile to my face. Kurt loved The Beatles and it's a fitting tribute to have Paul step in. The song doesn't sound like Nirvana but we didn't want or expect it to. I hope they helped raise a lot last night for a great cause. RIP Kurt.
Shows how important Nirvana was..there’s the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Black Sabbath, the Rolling Stones and Nirvana…..Van Halen gets honorable mention.
If ANYBODY could replace Kurt.....It's Sir Paul McCartney. Lord knows he's lost a band member or two from a legendary band himself....He knows the deal. Cobain would be smiling if he saw this.....This is Nirvana. Period. Kurt would have written this song himself. This is flat out BAD ASS!!!
Richard Baisden Jr. I don't think Kurt hated Mccartney. It's fine with me that it doesn't sound too much like Nirvana. But it would give those guys something really big to do and break McCartney out of his rut.
chavruta2000 Well, he stated in one of the interviews that he hated him or something like that. Yeah, it doesn't sound like Nirvana but I do agree it could give them all something to do. I'm sure they could create some pretty decent songs, too. I was just saying it shouldn't be under the name Nirvana. They should definitely start their own band-thing though.
Wild Sliders skate Maybe if you were paying attention you'd have heard Kurt state that he didn't like McCartney. Which is weird now to look back on because of the And I Love Her cover that's been released, which was a song McCartney wrote.
paul and nirvana should just go for it and make an album. that cut me some slack song they wrote was fucking great they did that song in 2 hours. it is mostly pauls song.
I think Grohl broke the drum skins again on that kit he was using from a Jersey rental company... When Nirvana was operational in Seattle, around 1992-93, there was a gig they used to play in Pioneer Square, and they would just haul the wasted drums in another room where they were stored until they could be picked up for repair. Dave was the hardest hitting drummer I ever heard live, even harder than Bonham ....
he was in a band that had a member who put the masses in a trance, who was a zeitgeist or "time mind" genius that represented the crest of the wave in all of music in general. grohl came out solo after the wave was receding back into the depths of communism.
Not a patch on Prince, and that's with the greatest of respect to Dave because I really love him as a musician. I'm also a huge Prince fan and have listened to them both extensively. Prince takes it hands down, and I'd challenge anyone to find a greater musician than him.
I totally could imagine cobains voice on this^^...they all should form a band again. with dave on ´drums....maybe find themselves another front ma...maybe even this fine young liverppooler. Fun Facz: while being on a tv-show with my band. I wore a betles t-shirt for the interview. and switched to a anirvana shirt for a hosted by show
If Kurt did say that, then as much as I respect the man as an artist, that's a rather absurd comment. In the later years of The Beatles' career McCartney wrote the majority of their output. Unless he meant he hated McCartney as a person, which I'd still find a bit odd.
It is no alternative metal, so why beat the shit out of the drums? Besides, the beginning strongly reminds of American woman... I was expecting more. Although, I love all the musicians, the song itself is nothing.
PbICEБLОГ like with helter skelter when Paul heavy rock their isn't much chord progression in the song like he does with his others would be nice to hear though
James Paul McCartney died in car crash on September 11 1966. Brian Epstein with the consent of the authorities at the time and the three Beatles, he decides to replace Paul with a right-handed session musician named William Shepherd. Everyone involved, including their families, vowed to keep everything a secret. However, The Beatles produced over a hundred clues about Paul's death in their albums and images. William underwent numerous cosmetic surgeries to resemble Paul. William is two inches taller than Paul, William has green eyes, William has a weaker and thinner voice than Paul, William has totally different manners. Musically, Paul was a genius, William is a weak musician.
They recorded it for the sound city documentary that’s the only reason they played it and hey, it got a Grammy none of the other songs on this got a Grammy
I love this. I love Nirvana, and it's great that the only time they reunited with the In Utero line up was with a Beatle that they all listened to as kids, Kurt included. I think Kurt would have been super excited.
No
He hated Paul

This is epic!!! It really sounds like a mix of Nirvana and the Beatles!
Paul McCartney is one of the few people on this earth who understands what it was like for the members of Nirvana. It can't really be Nirvana without Kurt Cobain, but I do think he would approve of this collaboration.

+Kurt Cobain yeah well I mean as a partir of The Beatles you know

Couldn't have said it any better! Nirvana has left behind an amazing legacy and they defined a new type of music in itself.
Perhaps the greatest thing that I've ever seen! New super group..???
1 dislike? I'm guessing it was Courtney Love...
This song was in the sound city documentary, that’s why they played it for this,
wow what the... amazing song, damn! we need more of them together!!!
I want to be as happy as Pat is here someday.
This is the greatest thing ever!
That was a Helleva Birthday present!!!! Thanks GUYS
Shows how important Nirvana was..there’s the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Black Sabbath, the Rolling Stones and Nirvana…..Van Halen gets honorable mention.
The "Oh Yeah!" at the end says it all.
We need an new Nirvana album......with non other then Sir Paul McCartney!
Dave grohl came alive on this drums
Yes! Amazing! And smears always enjoying
This is one of my favorite videos on TH-cam
Paul really is a legend
J'ai été fascinée du début à la fin par Dave. Incroyable énergie!
This band should go on the road as Nirvana. Think about it.
chavruta2000 Supposing Kurt hated McCartney, it'd be kind of disrespectful. Also, it'd sound nothing like Nirvana, so.
Richard Baisden Jr. I don't think Kurt hated Mccartney. It's fine with me that it doesn't sound too much like Nirvana. But it would give those guys something really big to do and break McCartney out of his rut.

Richard Baisden Jr. what are you saying? kurt loved the beatles , he said that so many times
Wild Sliders skate Maybe if you were paying attention you'd have heard Kurt state that he didn't like McCartney. Which is weird now to look back on because of the And I Love Her cover that's been released, which was a song McCartney wrote.
5:37 they did not just skip a classic Krist Novoselic bass toss.
THERE BACK. HELL YA!
Wow!! These guys still rock as before!! Dave definitely belongs to the drums... and Paul, well, he and his talent are immortal.
se não pode vencer pelo talento, vença pelo esforço "Dave Grohl"
kurt would be so happy
the whole doc is great
This sounds like something off Physical Graffiti.
Was thinking the same, still kicks ass
gracias!
Nirvana and Paul forever!
Amazing
this
is
so
cool
paul and nirvana should just go for it and make an album. that cut me some slack song they wrote was fucking great they did that song in 2 hours. it is mostly pauls song.
Yesssssssssssssss.
love it♥
In fact it seems like the first resonator mandolin I ve seen to me :P
what a jam man! fuckin awesome!
love it
I wish they would do an original nirvana song, but this is still cool
Paiste and Zildjian onstage together!
KILLER!!! Definitely influenced by Paul's own 'Helter Skelter' from The Beatles 1968 masterpiece "The White Album".
Frank ny you mean it was influenced by. a song from 2012 cant influence a song from 1969
@@madiserket2he literally said that
Huge!
awsome
Kurt Cobain probably looked down from heaven and clapped with the audience

Yeah I do. Jamming is what you do in the garage when you've just started. Out of that comes songs. Then you perform songs.
in my life i just had only 2 hero Best bass player they are ,Duff mckagan & kris novoselic
Paul is better on bass than most of them.
Rolling Stones X guns and roses X Paul and ringo X remaining Nirvana
yes, that has to happened.
Dave Grohl might not be the best singer, guitar player, or drummer, but i'll be damned if he isn't the best damn musician there is.
hes considered one of the best drummers of all time actually.
Numb Mind I think he over plays alot, and also Paul can play every instrument aswell
he was in a band that had a member who put the masses in a trance, who was a zeitgeist or "time mind" genius that represented the crest of the wave in all of music in general. grohl came out solo after the wave was receding back into the depths of communism.

I think he's a damn good drummer
cool !
the drumming near the end of the song has definite 'New Fang' similarities!
The irony is this sounds more like a John Lennon-Nirvana mashup.
I actually liked this =)
Cut me some slack... because my fingers are bleeding! ;-)
THE CARS GIMMIE SOME SLACK IS WAY BETTERER
Krist seems older than Paul! LOL
KURT would have been proud.
this sounds very much like the blue mask by lou reed
Where's Kurt?
+Sir Widdit... Kurt who?.......hey check out mccartney at 70yrs old. hahaha...he's still jamming
+Sir Widdit very funny kkkkkkkk
Above
He's death on 24 years
I totally could imagine cobains voice on this^^...they all should form a band again. with dave on ´drums....maybe find themselves another front ma...maybe even this fine young liverppooler.

sick Nirvana was the Beatles 0f the 90s and paul is from the Beatles lol
cigar box resonator guitar
What kind of guitar is McCartney playing?

What has happened to Kris?
He got older and gained some unusual fashion tastes.
Yes, you probably are...

beatles woudnt be the same without paul, same with nirvna
Bring Kurt back to life please! 2 bad there is no god!
They don't play any nirvana song
Watch the sound city documentary, this is the only song they’ve ever played together
Kurt didn't like Paul McCartney at all, really? You made a tribute with him? (I love Paul)
oooooooo
What the fuck kind of guitar is paul playing that shit ain't punk rock that bell ( end ) rock, grohl is a god
Resonator guitar
dziadki przed sceną nie wiedzą co robić
Yes... i guess you don't know what 'jamming' means..
охуенно

Are all those people sleeping ? What an awful crowd :/
Kurt fanboy too!

cool thing...but the song is unfortunately quite lame . but still cool thing!
Yeah. It's pretty bad

I guess Kurt Cobain was a no show huh? I wonder why....
Let's say he committed suicde
What exactly do you mean, is that an abstract way of saying "taking a break"
Too soon...
Is not thaaat great...
Why couldn't they just play about a girl
USA concerts are kinda boring
