Just in case you don't know about it go to Alight Motion Find the settings and you'll find Low Quality Preview turn it on while editing some of your video will look pixelated not all some of them when zoomed or 3d layers so you won't have any problems it will reduce lag on your phone
but when you export your edit would look fine

For people with free version:
add rays then do the colour red/whatever colour u want, then at the bottom put max quality and blend then add 1,11 length on rays and whatever intensity you feel is good, its not good but it's good enough...
