i suffered the same . Came tot ht UK in 1966 and in 2018 they asked me for proof of my residence before 1973 Who keeps records that far back. I had to write to my local MP for help. Eventually I go my passport after a residency of 51 years in the UK

Hi Dan Robinson I got a comment from you saying that you cannot believe that you are living in England so long, and been treated like that.Well I must tell you that you are the ones who must know about your ordeals, with those British leadership.I wrote a comment about the way they are treating the black people in England, and there was one lady cured me out saying that I don't know what am saying.I told her,I know what am saying, because I spent a little time there but I did not like there to live.I told her my father went to England in 1957 before she was born, and my ex wife living there, and still living there from 1963 and all her children were born there.She is the only one still living in England, everybody else left long, and living in the united States.Some times she visited the united States, and then go back to England.I could not see why some of those worthless Jamaican that is living in England so long, not even want to visit their own birth place.Something is automatically wrong with some of them from the rual parts of Jamaica, and they think that the country is like how they left it according to some of them mentality.Some of them is a big fools they would traced you all day, and they does not know how to looked about their paperwork so they can travel to other countries.That is to show you how stupid majority of them is,then they are trying to argued with a more sensible person more than them.I told the lady who was arguing with me talking her bullshit about how she is educated, and I cannot read.That is to show you how stupid she was talking her bullshit,I am living in the USA as a retired citizen,I can travel anywhere I want to in the world.Not like some of those worthless Jamaican who left Jamaica over several decades, living into a country and being fighting to stay there.Because they does not have any form of ambition at all,then some of those mother fuckers come arguing with me.All of those worthless mother fuckers Jamaicans, England should have thrown them fuck out.Anyone of those worthless mother fuckers can now challenged me, because I am okay, and I am not scared of none of those fucking stupid ass idoits.So they can reply, and if England want a man to arrested those fuckers, they can just hired me.I would be gladly do it as an expolice officer, they can go now fuck themselves.Sending their abnoxious comments to me,I was not the one who is trying to put out those no good mother fuckers Jamaicans out of England so why are they trying to arguing with me for. Actually our own govt doesn’t keep records. Under May they destroyed landing cards despite objections that these were the only records available for some of their arrival. And it was on after that that May’s Home Office brought in the policy to force the Windrush gen to meet new criteria to retain their rights. You couldn’t make it up. David Edbrooke and they deserve every penny. The government have been totally stupid over this. All they had to do was check tax records and see how long you've been paying tax for. But what they did was, threaten settled people with deportation, deny them health care and denied them benefits. Some people have been sacked. Would you be able to live on nothing? It's a disgrace. Luckily for me, my parents arrived after Windrush in the sixties. I was born in London so this does not apply to me but I would be hopping mad if it did.
