I always think it’s funny how superhero movies handle morality. In this movie, killing the bad guy makes you as bad as them. In Ironman, killing the bad guy means you’re done for the day.
In many superheroes movies the villains are entirely too fantastic to even have a moral debate, dormammu wants to eat realities like a buffet, thanos essentially commited omnicide,...but for the x men their enemies is the systemic oppression from human due to fear of the unknown. People see these people with abilities to freeze entire worlds, destroy galaxies and shit and they are afraid cause in most cases they are considered to be born with a "different set of genes", humanity's tribal mentality is at fault here but if mutants just start killing people indiscriminately they wouldnt be any better than the people that oppress them in the first place

Normally, he’s just one of the best telepaths in the world, able to break into most people’s minds with ease, including other telepaths. He’s widely considered one of, if not the most powerful telepaths in the world even without Cerebro
cerebro just lets him locate specific people. in '97 he practicality creates a classroom pocket dimension in his mind to level with the shi'ar empire, then he senses what happened to the x-men like several galaxies away, returns to earth, and telepathically calls every living member of the x-men around the world to the mansion

Thing that bothered me about Jen's Mystique - always felt like she was shutting Charles down for the dumbest and smallest of things.
