This movie reminds me of my live. Because after I got out of the military and came home nothing was the same. Hung out with some old friends and realised we were all going in different directions and it was generally for the best.
The most unique film I have ever seen! It totally blew me away. I loved it! The writing and directing is at such a high level that some folks will miss the whole point of this work of art!
Can it be that 14 years have passed since this film was released? I came across this lovely film quite by accident. It's uncomfortable to watch in a way, seeing two formerly close friends who have drifted apart as time (and life) went by. A very powerful story. Daniel London is great in this movie. The director is on top form -- I need to check out her other films.

I watched this film years ago, then it jus came back on film4 a few nites ago, so this time i made sure i recorded it. i hav now put it on for my mum to play in the background while she tries to get bak to sleep! perfect background noise while trying to sleep! If u like this, u will like the movie 'Wendy and Lucy' too by the same director.
Such a wonderful film. Virtually unique in its feel and pacing. Wish there were more films like this. Its a nice break from the usual trash that hollywood put out. It doesnt even have any explosions!
