The campfire scene is heartbreaking. Such an incredible film.

    I absolutely adore this.
I am nearly 27 going on 22, and am 100% Oldham's character, as is my ladyfriend of 6 years to some extent. Yes, in recent years I have become a film buff, but I did however have a similar experience saying 'goodbye' to my best pal some 4 or 5 years ago when he chased his love out West...
This movie touches something transcendent would say in any man 25+, and if they say otherwise, well... They are Oldham convinced they'll he 22 forever...

Man, Criterion, you guys should disable these comments. This video has clearly been brigaded by assholes exploiting something really tragic that happened to Patton and his family. Ugly stuff.

I still think theyre just gay
Also, not everyone gets to have a family or get married. It isnt a choice for all of us and yes we are left behind. It's not their fault but they ARE qbandoning you. And when you know you cant ever do the start a family thing, youre just left alone w no one to care that you even exist. Starting families is a privilege not all of us have, just like coming from a family. Some of us never get a family or home. You normies should be more empathetic about it

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I also think people empathize with Oldham's character

How about not attacking a man who found happiness after going through a tragedy just cause you want to look like a smarty pants by spilling conspiracy theories with no proof. Her death was accidental. If you’re so sure he killed her why don’t you present your evidence to the police? People are such parasites...

"I have depression... In my butt... My dirt-button... Star Wars."
Everything he ever said, I know even in advance this will be the same.
