There are some Twitch/Console side limitations currently preventing us from implementing that, once those limitations are removed we will be able to implement 60fps plans! :)

If I can't use Creator on PS5, why does it say you can purchase that plan for console?
While doing this, can I use my PC webcam and microphone? And overlay those over the game broadcast?
Looks very promising for my PS5 twitch streams. What is the quality like? I stream 720p from my PS5 and its usually pretty good, but I always get bad pixelation at some point. If this eliminates that I'll happily sign up.
We take in the feed you would normally send to Twitch so quality would be comparable to what you see without Lightstream

Hey guys! This is revolutionary to be honest, if you can get around the dns change it will eliminate the need for a capture card. I would also change the business model, instead of needing to do your 7 day free trial the minute you sign in via a credit/debit card, make the person link their streaming platform beforehand and give the 7 days free from then on without the need of the card details. If the platform logins were locked per account (for example : “this twitch account is already linked to another light stream account you cannot link it to another”) then you would eliminate abusing the system
With that, you get people in the door and using it without the opportunity to abuse and keep opening accounts. With the need to put credit card details I think you are losing so many people at the first hurdle for no reason.

For camera overlay do we have to set our camera in the same size and position on the ps5 as the light stream position and size too? As it’s inconvenient to have it middle right as it blocks our game screen as you can’t hide your camera on ps5
Hey there! With Lightstream you are able to bring in a separate webcam via your PC & browser, however, you should also be able to disable the PS camera from your broadcast under Broadcast Options! www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/ps5-hd-camera-support/

I have the DNS set to what you have, but my stream will immediately end as soon as I start it. I've been streaming using this DNS for a few months now without this issue. Any resolution you can think of?

How did you connect your ps5 to your laptop? Remote play? Say in warzone when you’re in a game party (not ps party) can you hear the other players?

Hey, Im currently in South America. Im trying to connect to a DNS server and every time I try to connect to a server it starts for a few seconds and it says "broadcast stopped". Is there a way for me to fix this? I tried to make my own DNS with my Mac but the instructions given are not working. If someone can please help that would be great. Thank You!

Can I broadcast with my PS5 camera and plug my usb mic into my laptop and broadcast that way so I can separate my lobby/stream chat?
Yep!
You can add your microphone through your laptop by opening Lightstream there and then you can use both microphones simultaneously (just make sure to mute the other one when you're not using it!) :)

Can you set a discord chat as the audio source instead of game or party chat? Your setup guide makes it sound like it, but isn't nearly as clear or definitive as the process for game chat and party chat.
You'll want to use something such as a virtual audio cable to bring in your computer/discord audio :)

Will it work with TH-cam Gaming or just Twitch?
Hey there! I'm afraid the native console capture in our Gamer projects only supports Twitch as an output destination at this time! Hopefully we can add TH-cam support in the future!
how did you get your twitch handle on the screen?
Are you talking about the image that is displayed over the game source? That is a custom image we made for the sake of this video. We used an image layer to display it.
Is there a way to put an overlay behind the gameplay? Like a border? I'm trying to figure out how but I'm not sure

You'll want to use the US DNS server. You may see slightly decreased speeds while using our DNS but just let us know if you run into any troubles using our in-app chat on the website and an agent would be happy to help

Hey there, yes, our custom DNS entry enables us to function on the Playstation, so unfortunately there is no other option at this time. :( We hope to have a more integrated solution for Playstation users in the future!
What primary DNS source would I use if I am in Canada? Would I just use the US one? Would that still work? I have a ps5, and a google chrome laptop (no capture card) and want to subscribe to your service can I do this?

I'm trying this with my PS5 and TH-cam but it doesn't work. Think this only allows you to game stream with Twitch and not youtube. Unless I'm doing something wrong here. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Going to try with Twitch. I'd prefer youtube more but I can try with Twitch for a bit.
Our cloud streaming feature is for Twitch only, for TH-cam you'd need a creator subscription and a capture card.

Hello! So i have a problem. I typed in the dms exactly what you did but for some reason its not connecting with my playstation network. I can do it offline but i want to be able to stream online games with my console. Am i doing somthing wrong?

You can not. The best way to do that is to connect your webcam to your pc/laptop and add a camera source.

Your console's mic and camera will come through your Game Source along with your gameplay :)

I normally use the Pulse headset for game audio and chat, will those be included when I add game capture or do I have to add separate audio layers for each?
