    Walmart is a shining example of the fact that I would invest in companies that I don’t not personally like or would shop at. I can find no fault with owning Walmart in my dividend portfolio and I would expect it to do well. I do not personally enjoy shopping there and I have personally witnessed it transform / destroy my hometown to a conglomerate nightmare and traffic hell. I also have issues with them as i remember well when their slogan was “ made in the USA” and saw how quickly they changed their stance on that. I do not think they add value to local areas ( small home towns ) but again I see holding the stock. Do you, Joe have ( or anyone else for that matter ) an opinion on this? Again I have Walmart on my list and most likely will buy it, it just gets bumped down because of personal feelings. Am I supposed to have feelings as an investor ?

      Joe P. here. This is a great question man. You really should be objective when investing, but also I think you should be comfortable in your choices as a human being. Here at Nanalyze, we're capitalists, but we also believe that investing in businesses which don't help people become better investors is a big no-no. Draftkings promotes gambling. That is not going to do anyone any favors. We wouldn't invest in that. Robinhood? They promote options and crapto, not to mention they were in trouble by the SEC for "gamifying" investing which encourages speculation. I do not believe these businesses should be given capital. That's because we feel very strongly about helping people become better investors. Everyone needs to make these decisions, but one piece of advice. Do not pay attention to ESG ratings. They are absolute rubbish.

      @@Nanalyze Thanks Joe. I already stopped considering ESG ( and sustainability as in environmental, both are too subjective to be reliable and the environment sustainably is often trash anyhow ). I agree with what you’ve said. I can’t classify Walmart as a total detriment to society. The example of my home town is subjective to my past experience with this town and what it was. Things change and new comers might see it in a different light. Robinhood and gambling are very much more clear. In this light there is some perspective. Long live Q!

      There have been two things I like in aiding disabled employment and developing highly motivated store managers within the companies. However, DECENTRALIZATION with “federation” in partnering with small/medium business to enhance community integration. This will impact loyalty in international locations.

    Interesting, on one hand their Q score has declined, but it seems like could be great dividend investment over the next decade or two.
    Thank You for all the great videos.

      Agree, and you're most welcome. A declining Q-score generally signals problems based on past experience, but each case needs to be analyzed on its own merits.

    Thank you! Could you possibly explore the buzz around Tesla's robot taxi and create a video on it?

      You're most welcome. This topic is covered a lot in the media. We might do an article (maybe a video) on the largest autonomy thesis. The best place to raise requests is on our Discord server because those are the people paying our bills ;) Joe P.

    I’m curious if you have any research or opinions on what are to start building a dividend portfolio. I am in my 30s so I am focused on growth stocks and would switch to dividend stocks later in life. Any thing on this subject?

    • @Nanalyze
      @Nanalyze  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You don't need to make a binary switch. You can always start a small dividend growth portfolio (smaller relative to total assets) so then you can see what the mechanics look like. Usually after a while that's when investors start to see the power of compounding and realize that many value stocks enjoy benchmark-beating performance (even without dividends), it's just that these don't get talked about much :)

      Thank you. I will have to think about this.

    Dividend kings haha. I just got burned an MMM and LEG both increased dividends for over 50 years until they didn't. LEG cut quarterly dividend from $.46 to $.05 next quarter. MMM to also reduce their dividend.

      Even kings perish. Dynasties change.

    • @Nanalyze
      @Nanalyze  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Not sure about LEG but MMM fell victim to a barrage of class action lawsuits that they didn't do a very good job managing. When a dividend king - any dividend king - stops increasing dividends we kick it to the curb and replace it with one that will.

    Amazing video I like when videos like this happen and are we’ll explain. Can you do a video for Parkin Hanniffin Corporation thanks

      Great feedback! So PH happens to be a very strong performer in our DGI portfolio - maybe the strongest right now - and I've been wondering why that it. While a PH video isn't out of the question, I'd highly recommend a Premium sub raises this possible topic on our Discord because then it's likely to get traction. We get loads of requests and we prioritize those coming from paying subs. This one is noted! Joe P.

    Thank you Joe❤ can you cover SNDL?They make money and have free cash flow unlike almost every other cannabis company. They also have almost double the cash as their market cap 900 million in cash 1.4 billion in assets. No debt just some technical liabilities which is under 200 million with a market cap of 600 million… Even if earnings are 💩 this stock should be trading no where near $3. Hope you do an update. Thursday is their earnings. If they turn a real profit we could see a big move up sir. You are great at crushing these stocks though so I’d love an honest opinion!

      Cannabis is by far the riskiest theme we cover. Lots of MSOs have positive cash flows these days. Please raise this on our Discord server.

      It's important to pay attention to dividend growth because that really impacts yield over time
