Wayne was the shit from his debut til Carter 4. After that, I don't know, I just couldn't get into his shit anymore. My favorite of his is Carter 3. That album is a classic.
Also, I think Em's verse in this was a harbinger of things to come. He made some references that he was readying to cripple the game with a vengeance, as he as recently done ha This was not long after he finally got sober and was getting back to finding himself.
