He doesn't make any sense at about 48:50. He said that at one point early on he didn't submit to gods will to create his own identity. I'm order to create you own identity you do not submit to anyone. Especially not some invisible being. If you do that you are not creating your own self, you are trying to be someone other than your true self in hopes that you are pleasing some invisible being.
Just because someone is proud of their faith in God and wants to share it isn't wrong. He wasn't forcing his belief, he was just telling the audience about it. There is a big difference. He didn't ask anyone person or the crowd in general what they thought. He was just telling his background story. And if you want to shame him or down him for that, I don't think that is right. The feedback is for the performer. I bother with it because I do like his shows, and I figure that if I were him, I would want feedback. I’m obviously not the right audience for this set up. I’ve seen him in Dry Comedy and he’s good. It’s just feedback, he can take it or leave it. No big deal.
