I love neo-baroque music, and this is almost indistinguishable from the great Italian master himself, Vivaldi. That circle of fifths progression at 8:00 is just so ethereally beautiful it sends chills coursing through my body. Electrifying, bravo! I am so happy I discovered you, Mr. Sardelli!
WOW! This is the first time that I became aware of Federico Sardelli, but his music has instantly made it to my favourites. What strikes me most is the fact that by all means this is not a stylized imitation - he has his own style; this IS baroque music - genuine, vivid and beautiful, but, incredibly, contemporary.
Modo Antiquo I don't hear the CPE Bach that someone else referenced above, Vivaldi and CPE Bach cannot readily combine due to fundamental differences. CPE has a very angular quality and is basically one of a kind, never imitated. However I certainly hear the Vivaldi. To me this sounds like you were trained by the Red Priest himself but still have a unique personal flavor. Your ritornello construction is nearly identical to Vivaldi's as is the pruning/recombination pattern. Solos are excellent and have Vivaldi's fingerprints on them as well. You also like to use the Prinner Schema (circle of fifths) as Vivaldi did. A good work, no doubt. The Fonte at 0:43 is well placed. The little theme at 0:35 is, unfortunately, Vivaldian through and through. This is not a common schema, and is part of Vivaldi's personal lexicon. I cannot remember the concerto it originates from, I want to say a violin concerto in B-minor. Love the modulating prinner at 2:52!!
Now, this is the first time that someone I generally only have pleasure to listen to on a record speaks to me live. :) This is remarkable, too. Too bad TH-cam video with composer's comment does not count the same as a signed CD. :) Is there a way to get in touch with you in order to negotiate for a permission to perform your music in concert? I am myself an electronics designer (yes, and love baroque...), but a friend of mine plays cello in an ensemble. I'm sure they'll be interested in performing your works.

Если не секрет, как вы определили, что я из России? knocked me right out. totally agree -- this is not "in the style of" in spite of the title. This is unique and original in the purity of its anachronism (in the literal sense of the word). Mille grazie, maestro!
I have always admired Sardelli and Modo Antiquo for their outstanding Lully performances. I did not expect this creative direction, such a great discovery.
Wonderful Baroque sound but for the unintiated, please realize that F.M. Sardelli was born in 1963. He is an authority on the Baroque period and Vivaldi in particular. He leads the group Modo Antiquo. This is superb music by a modern master.
Quindi i miei complimenti, bravo.
I've a question for you! I've memory of a cello and horn concerto published time ago in this channel...i loved it, but i don't remember the author, can anyone help me please?
President Aria don't hear the CPE Bach at all. To me this sounds like a student of Vivaldi wrote it. (Which describes Sardelli perfectly which is why I like him so much). This is littered with Vivaldian trademarks and his unique language. CPE Bach is much more subtle and sophisticated than Vivaldi with a decided angular quality to his music. CPE Bach's musical ideas are also stretched over far longer distances. The cool solo at 2:52 is finished by 3:03 where Bach would have had it go for half a minute and through several remote and colorful harmonic diversions. Leonardo Leo was from the Neapolitan School which, like Vivaldi, has many extremely telltale fingerprints, which this work displays almost none of. None of this is to detract from Sardelli who is a true master. Vivaldi was one of a kind and is often (fairly successfully) imitated. CPE Bach was one of a kind and never imitated, nor duplicated, save for Georg Benda who was a close friend and colleague. Leo was one of many who were mass produced by the conservatories in Naples and exported thought Europe.
Abriminero Leo writes great operas, love his Artaserse! Naples controlled Opera during the 1730s, so it's not surprising that Leo was a composer of fine Operas.
Gracias maestro Sardelli, sublime.
Magnifica....

I’ve only discovered SARDELLI yesterday, he and his orchestra is such an artist, we need more like him!
From 2:45 to 3:00 it's just... magical
Don't know how to describe it in another way...
OMG that's right! So inspiring
I like it very very much. Cello (and bassoon ) are my favorite instruments. Thank you dear Ispirazione Barocca
Damn, I love Sardelli’s works! All of them!
¿Por qué "maldita sea"? No lo entiendo.
I have always admired Sardelli and Modo Antiquo for their outstanding Lully performances. I did not expect this creative direction, such a great discovery.

Master piece of the 21th century....
super vibrante!!!!!!! Ilove it

I just discovered Sardelli and I was surprised there were other Baroque composers who wrote moving music besides Bach & Vivaldi.
The surprising thing is that this piece was composed in the 21th century.
What about Handel.
What about Corelli.
@@gmmgmmg Handel and I have been buddies for years!

Grande FMS allievo postumo di Vivaldi!! Direttore, musicista scrittore poeta.. Ancora una composizione di grande respiro Barocco..

im a huge fan of sardelli.
wow, amazing. Past Vivaldi. Loved it! Thank you for posting it.
Sardelli Maestro del nostro tempo.
Ao modo de Vivaldi, com maestria. A execução instrumental é brilhante.
Fenomenaal!!
Intro fenomenal 👌
Baroque music is officially a tradition, thanks to Federico Maria Sardelli!
REFRESHING - INVIGORATING - SNAPPY - HIGHLY INSPIRATIONAL - LOVELY
👏 amazingly uplifting!
Eindeloos mooie muziek, schitterend !
Heartbreaking to make up my mind between this masterpiece and G. PH. Telleman. Missing Vivaldi...? seriously
What is the name of the sculpture?
I've a question for you! I've memory of a cello and horn concerto published time ago in this channel...i loved it, but i don't remember the author, can anyone help me please?
This is usually a problem with TH-cam music for a lover of more than music.
La música barroca inconfundible: hermosa.
The first movement reminds of me Abra's aria "Non Ita Reducem" from Juditha Triumphans.
P o w e r f u l
Somehow, this concert reminds me Vivaldi's violin concert rv 278.
me too
Wonderful job Sardelli and team. What is the RV number of this piece? Thank you for the posting!
You are probably joking - this is an original piece by Sardelli himself. Maybe someday it will have SWV (Sardelli Werke Verzeichnis) number. :)
So many composer I do not even know!thanks for uploading .
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ !!!!!!!!
I really love this Concerto! I’d like to perform it with my Baroque Orchestra. How would I got about getting permission to perform it?
Would you please contact me or Maestro Sardelli in fb.
the same again: It is Vivaldi, but the orchestra and its director are fantastic.
