I started playing violin when i was five took lessons for 11 years. I never cared about this music growing up but my dad loved it. My father passed away recently so i started listening to Mozart after watching Amadrus. I feel like rediscovering Mozart is the last gift my father left for me. Like finding money hidden in a drawer but better than anything money could buy
I believe this wonderful piece could be the beginning of Romanticism. Mozart was truly ahead of his time. I wish he had lived to be 80. He would had transformed music in unknown ways.
@@abdullutfi7748 Beethoven probably would have snuffed out or modified. Not too different from Elvis dying early, which left the door open for the likes of Michael Jackson to set course for popular music.
@@aus822 For me, and I emphasise: for me, Mozart is the best composer ever. And he didn't need to live to be 80. 35 years old were enough. I do repeat: for me 😍😍😍

I guess people are so amazed by the music of this magnificent talent (though there is not a word to describe him enough), that they can't comment after all.

This isn't Beethoven's style of music, he wrote depressed pieces. This is Mozart, uniquely Mozart. Beethoven was a child when Wolfgang were in his prime and learnt al lot from Her Mozart. Also remember, Mozart's music also isn't classified as true classical nor baroque. He composed inbetween those periods.
Mozart did not write cadenza so that the interpreter can show off in that concert, so there are cadenzas from Hummel, Beethoven, etc. but originally the interpreter must improvise, and this is the case.
@@Zanarkendjp it's not though. I mean it 's definitely utilising those measure but there is some improvisation, or something fashioned out of it so it is a real cadenza. could be the pianist's own
Where are the world class women composers? Wealthy women of this time were encouraged and celebrated, if they excelled in music. Look how many female pupils and performers there are in this movie. Men had to spread their talents across so many other fields - science commerce, industry, exploration, military etc. Whereas the whole female population in thiis class could concentrate on artistic endeavours. They had men to provide their food, housing and other essentials. Servants to do the hum drum drudgery of life. Nannies to care for their children. Only their hobbies to persue. Yet no women, not one, reached the pinnacle of achievement of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms and so many other male composers; we can still name today. The rock stars of their time!
1 is that it? There are dozens of world class male composers whose name easily trio off the tongue -Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Bach etc etc and you can only name 1 world class female composer? Why is it sexist to expect women to perform equally to men? They claim to be equal, so it is entirely reasonable to expect women to reach equal levels of of achievement. If I claim to be equal to Husein Bolt but can't run 100m in less than 30 seconds - my claims of equality are egotistical nonsense and should be created as such. All I am asking is that women provide evidence fir their claims of equality.
@@jonahtwhale1779no dude, the point of bringing up Fanny Mendelssohn is because she was actively prevented from becoming a published composer, she had to publish her work through her brother. Similarly with Clara Schumann. The reason there aren’t so many famous female composers is because they were prevented from becoming famous. Furthermore we don’t judge quality based on just fame. There’s thousands of unknown composers who made brilliant works that just aren’t known about. Finally, you’re being sexist because you went on an unprompted hating women rant in the comments of a video
We have all Heard demands from females to be given equal opportunities in various fields of human endeavour- because women are equal. Well as a corrollary men can expect women to achieve equally to what men have. So women can prove their equality. Where are the female with equivalent achievements to Mozart, Einstein, Elon Musk, Edison, Jesus, Rockerfeller etc etc etc. There seems to be an achievement gap that is is not explained by lack of opportunity.
He just wrote infinitely great music for this song. Beethoven and others took something for themselves. This is not human power and music.Too much passion and depth.

If everyone compared themselves to Mozart, nothing would be made. Sometimes it’s ok to be mediocre, but still good

A masterpiece -- that's exactly how I described it!
a Mix of a concerto, an opera and a symphony. Truly ingenious and innovative. If only Mozart had lived longer...

Really love this soundtrack, nice version, reminds me of the scene in the film.
I love the tympani in this. you rarely hear much of the tympani in mozarts works.
Oh Mozart, you are such a genius!!!
And a brilliant film!
Thank you
You are god's gift ryeg. Thank you for uploading the soundtrack of amadeus
Magnificent!!!
God sending messages through music notes.
Introduced me to Mozart.
somehow this brings me memories of the magic flute, queen of the night aria
bc it’s in d minor, also Don Giovanni finale
Simply incredible!
Sublime!!
D Minor man, just like Don Giovanni
And Requiem
Keeps drinking wine.the black mask is knocking the door.
Anyone notice this is the first piece we hear at the beginning and at the very end it’s the 2nd movement to this concerto
this is not the piece we hear at the beginning though. the first one we hear is Mozart's 25th symphony

Is it me or does this piece sound really close to Beethoven's style in some parts?
Its more like Beethoven sound like Mozart.
Yes, you're absolutely right. Beethoven even wrote one of the "Cadenzas" of this concert.
I don't feel Beethoven here at all

Beethoven.
