yo don't take max or 30 minutes or however much fuel that is, on an afterburner running jet 20 mins is the most you'll need, if you're not running afterburners then min is fine. Also another tip, if you're only being shot at by IR missiles, especially rear aspect, aside from flares you should cut back on your throttle, (I know there aren't flares on the f100d or at least not stalk, but if you cut back and dodge you have a better chance of not dying to them. 30 makes me feel a lot more safe😅 and I just learned to turned my WEP off if a missile is coming at me.
