Out of the entire soundtrack, this is my favorite song. Yes, it is not a minor song and was meant for more of the background in terms of the soundtrack. And yes, it is not as epic as others, but I just love the grandness, the tranquility, the beauty, and at once the melancholy and pensiveness. It just beautifully defines life and that what makes it such a lovable peace for me. It warms my heart and also makes tears come to my eyes, reminding me how beautiful it describes life talking about a dawn on the field in a beautiful yet troubled land inhabited by a once proud, but now humiliated race.
All guild wars soundtracks are beautiful and amazing to listen. I enjoy every one of them. Its one of the 2 games that I have enjoyed nonstop since it came out and never actually got bored of it along with Final Fantasy Online. No other game has done that. Its just.... Gorgeous :')
My first character was a human warrior. Sometimes when I have nothing to do in game I’ll just hang out in Shaemoor and listen to this music and reminisce on how it all began, and help lowbies when they ask for it.
When I first played guild wars 2 using a human then I hear this music, I was like "i think i chose the correct game"
Just started myself and I know what you mean
Brings nostalgic memories for me when I was starting playing gw2
Same here! It carries the highest level of nostalgia for me!
I just started and I know what you mean. I love this game and it reminds me of Skyrim.
Probably because Jeremy Soule wrote music for both games :D

Yep this track has very pronounced melodic structure, but not too "epic" or too ambient - usually both of these extremes are less original musically.

this song is engrained into my brain
This reminds me of my earliest times in the game, wish i could go back to those times
I'm having those right now!
Me too
@@omarcomming722 Nice!
That's some nice Bach style counterpoint right there, Soule.
Makes it sound ancient and noble, appropiate for the setting!
I feel like crying because of the nostalgia everytime I hear this
Such a sentimental feelings that song include and remind us we are becoming grown man
@Halfpastlife this hits even harder because I haven't listened to this in ~2 years so the listen hit even harder
@@lukastace3154 😭
I am almost crying because of those memories
Same
Best track in the game! I still remember the day I created my first character which was Human Thief. The feels....
I first heard this theme when I killed the Shadow Behemoth for the first time (I was playing a Sylvari Thief)... I was like... so wonderful. *tear*

i totally got the oblivion vibe from this song too, man it suddenly brought back some memories :)
Search "Wings of Kynareth" and you'll see why you get that vibe :D
Robert Hason I think Oblivions' music was also composed by Jeremy Soule
Curtis Yue Well no shit sherlock :D
Imperial city here I come.
every time i hear this it brings a tear to my eye, always giving me that feeling of when i first fell in love with this game. dang Q-Q
I love hearing this in the observatory
Every day should start like this.
Best track ever
I've been looking for this so long... lol
I've listened to this many-a-time
I see two Separatists have disliked this video.
I see we have a Clone Wars fan
Vistas in Kryta :D
One of the many great themes in this soundtrack. The game is very good but the soundtrack even tops it.
I think the only problems with the game are the mechanics itself. The lore, atmosphere, graphic design, soundtrack are all 10/10.
When humans have the best animations and armor, so you create humans every time and level in Shaemoor
"Have you seen my dog?"
"No. Is he loose again?"
nostalgia
you can hear palpably jeremy soule's elder scrolls style here, love it
beautiful music
i love guild wars and guild wars 2!
Power of Jeremy Soule.
Finally found it!
I had a lot of fun on this game, shame my laptop i used back then couldn't handle pvp with loads of people casting at once xD
I promise a painfull end
I think my character will outrun you... That's what she says everytime. Soooo... yyeeeeeah.
I feel like I'm in EBG any time I hear this.
Almost 100k views and still not a single dislike o.O
Deservedly

@@Agret everyday we stray further from God
This is like the sea shanty 2 of GW2.
I neeed a 1h version please i beg you !
I love the first 16 seconds of this song
This soundtrack simply just saying ”Lets go on a adventure”
Nostalgia
Somehow for me its a kind of night - ingame tune
"More people should learn to barter"
My first character was a human guardian. Every time I hear this song I remember just starting the game and running around exploring to it.
Same
Is it me or does the guy in the image look a lot like William Fichtner?
