My cousins father has so many children by different women, that one day a man at the corner store tried to hook up with her and she said “no, I’m good, you look just like my daddy and laughed. His response was “what’s his name” she said his full name and at that moment they realized they are siblings. It’s crazy to think that they could’ve hooked up and wouldn’t have known they were related. It’s important to know your biological history for reasons like that. Also for medical/health reasons.
The waters are muddy when you’re a descendant of chattel slavery. We were sold off many times so in present day we are probably distantly related to many ppl we don’t even know.
