And it was in this position, upon being woken up in the middle of the night, that I was informed about the head to head score between Fabi and Anish, and there was no more sleep to be had.

#suggestion could you showcase a game from the recently deceased Ziaur Rahman as a way to pay respects? he was arguably the strongest ever Bangladeshi GM and definitely deserves some posthumous recognition

going 3/3 in rapid against Gukesh, Pragg, and Alireza in their current strong form, to win the tournament, is beast-mode.
This is classical, not rapid
All of them suck in rapid only good in classical

@Antonio, at #8:05 you mention time control after 40 moves, but in this tournament "Time control is 120 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment per move".
Anybody noticed Agad's camera moving?
He got a new camera a few months ago (?) and it does that some times. There’s some really funny moments of it zooming and panning in videos when he first got it.

I vividly remember another Anish win against Fabi: Tata steel, immediately after reaching time control and time is added Fabi blunders a bishop if I remember and Anish captured with his knight moving backwards and then looking at Fabis face as if to say "wanna resign?". Fabi resigned soon enough.

Sometimes I feel like when top players get the black pieces, they become fixated on getting an opposite color bishop situation and they aren’t objective about whether they’re actually making a draw.
