    This is so helpful as my right hip was hurting. At first it was ankle mobility and i worked on it. As I progress I have the hip pain again, and i tried this and found how underactive my right glute and hamstring are. it even causes lower back pain with my RDLs. this fixes all. i do it in my off days or between squat sets. my pain is reduced significantly. gonna do it til its gone completely

    I had this issues and got to get surgery on both hips because the repeated impigment broke my hips and tore apart my labrum.
    I’m still skeptical about this kind of « fix » because hip impingment most of the time happens because of the bone being in a weird shape, and any « fix » you would try would never reshape the bones correctly.
    I’m open of discussing this topic with you! Thank you for bringing awareness tho, I wish I knew that issue before. I had my surgeries last year when I was 25 😭

    • @8180634
      @8180634 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      if you don't mind my asking, how old are you and how did the surgery do for you? I'm dealing with impingement on one side myself, trying to put off hip replacement as long as possible. They tell me at my age almost 50. I'm too old for the surgery. This type of thing was in the therapy I was receiving. It was a bit of a double edged sword. The therapy on one hand was irritating to the joint, but on the other hand it did make it feel stronger and the days I didn't have therapy it did feel better after having done the therapy. Lots of anti-inflammatories during the therapy. So no perfect solution but definitely worth trying. Also, the therapist is extremely important. The therapists I had were not very aggressive and I really had to motivate and push myself and do my own homework. Sometimes they had me doing things and the exact way to do it and the intent were not clear but talking to other therapists clarified things.
