There’s another one in Red Dead. If Arthur grows out his mustache to full length, it gives you an option to kiss Dutch on the cheek. He even giggles when you do it
if you only have stubble, he'll make a remark about how it'll hurt, and won't let you do it, but he'll still giggle just a little bit

The Max Payne elevator Easter egg is my favorite of all time
I can't believe I never knew about that one. The little 4th wall break from Max got a chuckle out of me.
And that's the second part of that easter egg! If you shoot the alarm in the bank vault in Part 1 Chapter 2, above the door controls, Max will thank the player there too.
Had to check this wasn't a reupload, can't believe you're back so soon!

ive known about that Max Payne one, but i thought that was more an easter egg than an "insane detail" given it came out during an era where it was normal to joke abut elevator music being terrible. which boggles my mind to this day cuz ive never

The Cyberpunk 2077 part (07:05) reminded me of a cool detail in Breath of the Wild, when you're in the Great Plateau tutorial with the King, he teaches you about how to use the teleporter on the Sheikah Slate and asks you to meet him at the Tower you just unlocked using the Teleport to get there. But, if you climb the tower instead of teleporting there, he has a different dialog almost mocking you for climbing the tower again when you could just teleport

I wish stores in North America did the classical music thing.. my boss in a big box store INSISTED on never airing "the store is closing" announcements or anything like that. Instead, the lights just flicked 5 minutes before it's time to go, and every time, we've got customers left over who think it's a power outage..

One of the details i like in Cyberpunk is that you still have Jackie in your contacts after he dies.
I tried to call him because I thought nothing would happen.
Of course nobody picks it up but you can leave a message, and you have couple of options depending what u did with Misty his funreal etc.
Its prty much V saying his goodbye and coping with the fact his best friend died and I think it was rly strong moment and detail i rly liked, it can be so easily overloked yet someone in CDPR thought about it.
Loved it.

In Lies of P since you're a puppet you don't make any sounds at all when getting hurt. As you Lie throughout the game P becomes more human and begins to groan when getting hit and even begins panting when you run for long distances.

Dude, your presentation is just so ridiculously premium - I just noticed a couple of the game logos are actually animated. Don't know if that's custom made or if you somehow managed to create an alpha layer for all those water droplets dripping off Bioshock. Either way, must've been so much work for such a little detail. 👏
Thanks for noticing! The Bioshock logo with the water appears in the original game but it's only in 720p, so I upscaled it. It's on a black background so I just keyed that out.

I didn't realize it when I played these old games at the time just how good I had it until now. back then, most of these details pointed out in older games seemed so natural for a game to have that I rarely appreciated them, I was more attentive to the story. take Titanfall 2 for example, the back-and-forth in time portion with the dead bodies, I noticed that detail but thought nothing more of it because that level of attention to detail was abundant in so many games at the time and even before then. nowadays, I'm blown away by details from videogames that were released 11 years ago. cool vid
