I wanted to take a break from easter eggs and look at the attention to detail in some of my favourite games. I'm always finding new things that blow me away, and so I wanted to show you some of the best I found recently. I really hope you enjoy the video!

there's another edited one in the mirrors edge clip, or atleast sounds like it, def cant be from the game i dont think.

so glad Battlefield 1 sampled real, on-location Metal pipe falling audio for the blimp scene, truly one of the immersive gaming moments of all time.

Mirror's edge was so ahead of his time. is amazing how many modern games took things from it. an absolute timeless classic
It's gorgeous. Almost 15 years later and it still holds up against any game releasing today. It doesn't need a remake, but I'm so desperate for a remake with Catalyst's controls and the original's visuals.
i was thinking the same. I had such a blast playing that for the first time. Hard to believe its been 14 years.
Alien Isolation also still looks insanely good.
It's very impressive how good that game looks even on today's standards, so sad ea killed dice
Mirror's Edge is one of the most underrated franchises. It's a shame the battle royale era pushed every other genre out of the mainstream.

I love it so much. I recently bought an unopened copy of the game on PS3 for a price I am too ashamed to disclose.

It really was a gem of a game, too bad Catalyst was way worse 😢
I don't get all the hate for Catalyst, I actually liked it more than the first. The only thing I think Catalyst did worst than the original was the combat, it was much better in the first game, but other than that I liked everything in Catalyst better. There is an actual open world instead of being restricted to just the mission area. The cutscenes are actually animated instead of comic like slideshows, and I just felt the story of Catalyst was better. I will say the skill tree was pretty stupid as we had all those moves available from the start in the first game, but overall I felt that Catalyst was a good game, but that's just my opinion.

I always thought the sound design in Death Stranding was phenomenal, but the fact that they made a sound if you PEE on the HOLOGRAM WALLS??? Like WHAT???? Someone had to actually come up with that while it was in development. Makes me love the game even more.
It was the peeing on the barrier that really blew me away. Who would even think to do that?!

Cool battlefield 1 detail on 3:00, where you can hear the steel pipe dropping sound
i just replayed Prey and man... the details in that game is kinda crazy, like the videos in the Glass, you can even look around in there, really wish that game had a sequel because it's one of my favorite from Arkane studios.
I’m only at 2:35 in the video and so far I can say this is excellent work.

It lacks a lot of details... It shows weapons in your hand that u don't have, it constantly switching weapons in and out entirely
@@emulation2369 You can also jump in slow motion and use painkillers to heal gunshot wounds, the Max Payne games are loved for the story and the gameplay, nobody walks into it expecting cutting edge realism!

Mirrors edge was one of those games that just got me right into gaming, having that, Halo 3 & Cod 4 all within the same year(s) was such a blessing
I just 100% Cyberpunk and man what a game, so much detail and little stuff everywhere in that game. Must’ve felt so cool for Keanu to play Johnny, as Keanu has always been a rocker and guitar player himself.
The speakers break forever if you destroy them. Thats a nice twist that you learn in your first playtrough, the music is so chill. Also good to see mirrors edge, that game was amazing. Never played ME 2, tough
Glad you included that Battlefield 1 clip, it's cool to see accurate representations of fire extinguishers in video games. I work with fire extinguishers, and one thing that always bugs me is that alot of games get them very wrong. DICE always nailed them, like in Battlefield 4 when you could shoot them and it would create a giant powder cloud. That's realistic.
However, some games can't tell (or dont know the difference between) what type of fire extinguisher they're representing. Many times I've seen BC fire extinguishers (typically water or foam) will slowly shoot out dry chemical powder, or somehow explode and... catch things on fire?

At 2:58 of the video, if you listen carefully. You can hear a what sounds like a metal pipe hitting the ground. This is a reference to the metal pipe sound effect, which was a strangely popular meme at its time.
