Man that’s terrible, they shouldn’t lie to customers like that. Knowing the attention to detail, yet simplicity, restaurants in Italy have make me understand why they get mad when places like Olive Garden try to past their food off as authentic Italian. They take it very seriously but it’s because pretty much most places keep up their standards.
Their breadsticks changed unfortunately. They're still breadsticks but they look and feel more like hot dog buns than breadsticks now. They're still Olive Garden breadsticks so I'm never not gonna like 'em but I don't get what they're going for. Surprised you went back but Olive Garden on a whole is a guilty pleasure for me. It gets terribly too much of a bad rap by snobs online. If I want pure 'authentic' Italian food, my family can cook. If I want what Olive Garden is specifically serving, it's perfectly edible as it's own thing. I still love their chicken scampi.
The Zuppa Toscana is my favorite soup, like ever. I've actually made it before lol. I dip their breadsticks in it, top tier combo. I haven't been to Olive Garden in years but I'm sliding through A.S.A.P and trying the alfredo sauce with the bread.
Love the review of new dishes, Schratz!! Highly requesting more of your new dish /apps /desserts tate testing! Have you considered doing new dishes from: 1) Rai Rai Ramen 2) Drews Bayshore Bistro 3) Browns Restaurant
just recently started watching your videos, and i can already say your my favorite. Keep it up bro and also would love to see you try some nigerian food. maybe you already did 😂
Been watching your shorts for a while and recently discovered your actual vids, and I gotta say I genuinely appreciate when people give realistic reviews like you and the food item/dish doesn't live and die by the score. Like I think too many people end up getting stuck on spectacle and things needing to be the best or perfect, when in reality the overwhelming majority of stuff is gonna be somewhere in the middle but still good. And it bugs me when people needlessly shit on chains and fast food simply on the basis of not being authentic or high quality, and I like that you still appreciate these places for what they are and when you say stuff along the lines of ≈ "it's not great but I'm not mad at this" or "there's things to like about this but this part isn't working for me", and even better when you legit discover something that bangs. Keep doin what you're doing good sir 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Appetizer : lasagne rolls or calamari extra dip Soup: any except minestrone Entree: Chicken Scampi w extra Scampi sauce Breadsticks: no thanks My order every time ❤️
Bro I totally agree. I just get their Alfredo sauce and breadsticks, soup and salad. Their pasta fagioli and minestrone soups are actually pretty good if you’re a soup fan
That alfredo sauce looked watered down. I used to work at an olive garden when they first came to my state, like over 30 years ago. The sauce was really thick. At that time you got a side of sauce for free, till they realized they could make money, because it realy was that good together. But never was it that thin. Italian wedding soup is made with small meatballs in broth with vegetables and acini de pepe pasta. Zappa Toscana is sausage, vegetables including potatoes in a broth with added heavy cream.
There's one menu item that Olive Garden has that has always been fantastic for me: the mutsy sticks! Perfect fry and perfect cheese melt on those things every time 😌🧀
So glad you got the breadstick with Alfredo lol. It’s literally the only thing I like aside from the peach Bellini tea that you can buy in a gallon bag! 🎉
I refuse to go to Crumble Cookie because their cookies are nuts expensive and frankly, when I look up the flavors, they look a lot less interesting than the hype I hear. Having said that, I would be interested in seeing you get them and maybe you could convince me somehow they are worth it. Still, I'm a guy who thinks Oatmeal Raisin is the best cookie that exists in the world.
Bruh I got subscribed to your channel today but I've been watching it for about 6-7 months and today of all days you picked the only two items I get from Olive Garden, Zuppa soup and Chicken/Shrimp carbonara.
I haven’t been to any sit in restaurant since a couple years pre covid. Yeah it’s been a really long time I just don’t really like eating in restaurants and being around all them loud ass people talkin about absolutely nothing
I work at Olive garden the carbonara sauce is just Alfredo mixed with bacon and parmesan cheese that's it we don't use eggs

@@MoebiusChungus I agree
This might be a stupid question, but is it possible to get it without the bacon?
@@itsjustrelle yea..it's just Alfredo
and a ridiculous amount of oil
You’re one of the only food reviewers that buys a lot of items at each place you go to 🙌🏼 currently my favorite food reviewer 👍🏻
Ngl I’d love to see you try some breakfast spots in Jersey, try and see which is the best. Kind of like your Chinese food series!
This would be awesome i dont know if King would ever want to wake up that early.
@@SecretAsian84maybe get a breakfast and dinner review same day lol
@@lildevastator1130 yeah breakfast for dinner. Find a diner in NJ.
He's def done this in the past. Search the archives!
I get the chicken and shrimp carbonara made over tortellini at Olive Garden! Super big back behavior but good 😂😂
Their breadsticks changed unfortunately. They're still breadsticks but they look and feel more like hot dog buns than breadsticks now. They're still Olive Garden breadsticks so I'm never not gonna like 'em but I don't get what they're going for.

I noticed the change in breadsticks too!!!! My mother likes to go here every now and then
I am having problems with pizza places breadsticks not being crisp enough it like they need to leave them in the oven a little bit longer.
I’m a general manager at firehouse subs.
1. Hot sauces are back.
Also
2. Fries should be coming to a store near you soon.
Zuppa Toscana and Italian Wedding are two different soups. I like Zuppa best😋
Zuppa was so good I found a copycat recipe and make it at home. More sausage and kale per bite.
I liked Zuppa Toscana so much, i immediately learned how to make it after i tried it. So now i can make my own even better.
The Zuppa Toscana is my favorite soup, like ever. I've actually made it before lol. I dip their breadsticks in it, top tier combo. I haven't been to Olive Garden in years but I'm sliding through A.S.A.P and trying the alfredo sauce with the bread.
Yep it made me learn how to make it myself. So i legit just make it at home now. Breadsticks too 😂

I Love Olive Garden ❤❤and Salad and Eggplant Parmesan that's my Meal Everytime ❤❤ LOVE AND HUGS TO YOU 💞💞💞
When did Olive Garden breadstick get doughy and floppy? They kept the same topping blend but now they’re flaccid
Their potato sausage soup sounds like the wedding soup just described😭💯that soup is always good. They can't fool me.
Awesome video man the king never disappoints 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Olive Garden has calamari?! Never knew
@@TamaraInTanzania2yes and they’re really good
Soup salad n breadsticks is the only thing to get from there most of the time.
Their calamari with the spicy ranch is one of the best for a chain restaurant!
You should try the warm Italian doughnuts next time. Make sure to get the chocolate sauce and the raspberry sauce. Very tasty
Bro I totally agree. I just get their Alfredo sauce and breadsticks, soup and salad. Their pasta fagioli and minestrone soups are actually pretty good if you’re a soup fan
Bro crossed the sauces 😂
For a chain restaurant or ANY restaurant those breadsticks are great.
Too salty
Literally go for the breadsticks lol 😊 Petition to have them rename the wedding soup bc that is so… but I’m glad it’s good.

Schratz, love your videos man! Next time you hit up the OG, you gotta try their ziti appetizer. One of the best things on the menu.

ima always b an olive garden lover . W video bro
Their black tie mousse cake is my fav
best food reviewer around right now
As a St Louis native, seeing what passes for fried ravioli is depressing.
Chocolate mousse cake from Hooters is second to none!
Olive Garden is the most bland food you can get on the planet. I get nauseated when i eat there. Carrabas is way better.
agreed
high class hand gestures. much admiration much indeed
The salad bar is life!!
I love the grind!!
randomly came across your channel and stuck ever since
That thumbnail is crazy😭🤣 started the video and it blended into the first frame💀🔥
Hey King! Next time you go to Olive Garden- add Tabasco to your zuppa toscana. Makes it so much better!
The tuscana soup is elite when you add red pepper flakes
Every time I've gone to Olive Garden (twice) the food sucked besides the salad and breadsticks but I will try them again.
Chicken and shrimp carbonara from Olive Garden is my go-to!
the spin dip is the best spin dip I've had at any restaurant
Man, this big back can get down on some Olive Garden. Fire! 🔥
Chicken parm with fettuccine Alfredo breadsticks and pasta e figoli kidney beans beef cannelli beans
Ravioli carbonara add grilled chicken best thing on menu by a mile
Thanks for uploading boss
Zuppa with the breadsticks 🔥🔥
A little Micheal Jordan steakhouse ideas and Italian authentic food per location
I LOVED Oliver Garden Alfredo, the restaurant left Canada in the early 2000s, it really pissed me off! Also, Alfredo Fries??????
So glad you got the breadstick with Alfredo lol. It’s literally the only thing I like aside from the peach Bellini tea that you can buy in a gallon bag! 🎉
i’ve never thought of putting Alfredo sauce on their breadsticks 😮
toasted ravioli was my favorite thing there when i worked there.
