Plus-X was my preferred film back in the day. I love the photos you got with it. Congrats on the three year anniversary and impending arrival.
Thank you 🙏
Awesome shots! I can’t believe it still looks so great after 30+ years
Thank you
Plus-X is a lovely film! And these results are perfect examples of the magic of Plus-X! I usually shoot Plus-X at full box speed, but I’m also pretty cavalier with expired films. Congrats on the wedding, and stay on those pins and needles waiting for the arrival of the baby!
Thank you Alex
Yes yes Aly is back 🎉 congratulations on your wedding and for the new arrival of the baby ❤
Thank you!
I once used Plus x pan all the time.
Great video.
Ahh that must’ve been a great time to live lol I wish they’d bring it back!
Thank you for posting. This was very informative. Congratulations on your impending arrival. Cheers from Canada
Thank you!
good luck with everything, exciting times!! photos are beautiful and enjoyed the video!
Thank you 🙏
Great video, great photographs, great film (almost as good as new).
Thank you. Yes it held up really well
Ive shot plenty of old film and found that the most added was a stop and a half.
"Overexpose and under-develop" should be the anthem for anyone shooting unexpired film in Florida sun. Sounds like you used a version of Alex Luyckx's Tmax trick to retain the shadows in Plus-X.
honestly I just guessed LOL but ill pretend there was a plan behind it
😁
Congratulations!
Thank you 🙏
That roll of expired film performed wonderfully. Great shots, BTW. And congrats on the impending birth of your baby.
Thank you!
Congratulations on your upcoming Child! Don't be nervous, parenthood will kick in right away. I look forward to all of the video's of you photographing your family.
Thank you!
Had to order both books :)
Awesome thank you!
Really enjoyable video. I loved the results from the film. You have a lot going on in your life obviously but inquiring minds want to know, has the turtle returned? In my mind his name is Sir Dumpsalot.
Lmao he has not come back but I’m still in shock at how much he dumped all over my driveway and porch. I feel like he was sending me a message 😂
I've always thought that B/W film holds up a little better than color film. With color the storage is way more important than B/W. Well, at least B/W is a bit more forgiving. Color can have so many weird color shifts if stored badly. Nice images by the way and congratulation on the baby. They are lots of work at first but it does get better with time.
Very True
Thank you!
What camera/lens did you use?
I used the Leica M6 and Summicron 35mm f2
@@AlysVintageCameraAlley thank you! Your photos came out lovely🖤
Was it a 20 or 36 exposure roll?
I can’t remember now.
