The new spring Linhardt honestly has been AMAZING for me. I use a kinda strange build with him, but it works wonders. I use the Golden Yle bow with res refine and a ploy in C slot, like you showed. However, I put spd res hexblade on the A slot and spd def tempo on the B slot, and I use glacies as the special (with emblem marth). He has so much res that, even if he only pierces 50% of foes DR, his glacies is super strong. And the hexblade effect helps him with killing bulkier units. And what's funnier is that I used him as an "omnitank" of sorts whe I saw that the foes defense team only had mages as the nukes. He kills byleth, kills Ike (sometimes), tanks and kills Lyon, Ivy and Chloe. I really really love using him. Ohh and great video by the way
My hot take is that Greil Infantry units with high Def/Res and Spd should have some bumps. Being able to combo Godlike Reflexes + Emblem Ike if your Savior isn't using it + Laguz Fighter 4 is probably what was necessary for units with that stat line to work.
Marisa is actually pretty good against the main threats right now due to her high HP and good Defensive stats. She can take a +10 Lyon and can also take a +10 Sanaki as long as she has null penalties support which Peony can easily give. She can also barely Take Igrene however the Igrene can't be merged so that one is unreliable. For the Build I use +HP and Ascend +Def. Arcane Devourer (+Def), Godlike reflexes (needs Ike to take Igrene), Spd/res Finish 4, Null C Disrupt 4, Times Pulse/ Pulse up, Distant counter (M), and Guard Echo. Takes lots of fodder but works very well against the main 2 problems in the game.
9:30 The Devoted Basket build you have there is what I am planning on giving my Bride Cecilia. Giving the very valuable Fatal Smoke 4 seems to be a necessary evil, if I am to use that build sadly. Edit: timestamp.
Why is Nils so low compared to the other dragons? He can equally take as much advantage of the newer stuff (on top of being a very good option as a IP4 dancer) and has a similar stat spread to the kanas so i don't get why he isn't promoted too?
Always interesting to see your opinion on new units. Don't have a lot to say myself except one thing: I've been using Mauvier a lot in SD and I think he deserves to be promoted from decent to solid. Hexblade support is just so underrated because it's not always obvious how much damage you're getting out and there are definitely some units where it's no help at all but on the whole I think it's a super valuable effect. Null Panic is matchup winning whenever it's applicable, and, along with boubler, it is a big part of the reason why L!Eli and Y!Eli are so strong. While I don't think Mauvier is nearly as strong as the Eliwoods, the uniqueness of the hexblade support and the ease with which he hands out his buffs makes him a very valuable option. He's especially helpful in SDS (? the one with multiple teams) since you can put L!Eli, Y!Eli, and Mauvier on different teams to turn any panic centric teams on the opponent's side into a dead team wince they can't ban all of your null panic anymore.
Do you see value in Cormag and to a lesser effect Haar, pivoting to a Spd/Def build with Wyvern Rift to stack up more true DR? I've seen a couple Wyvern Rift Ashnards but want to wait til A/D crux before i fully commit to him.
I personally like the idea of stacking cormag’s spd and def more so than Haar’s since he has a spd penalty on his weapon, but Wyvern Rift Cormag allows him to daunt even more damage cause of the 7 flat amount. So as long as he can outspeed, which will wholly depend on the mode and units he goes up against, I’d argue it’s a good idea especially with all of the null % dr effects that are around. As for Ashnard, it’s hard to say when we’ll get Atk/Def Crux but I do agree that holding out for it would be ideal.
Cheers for the insight! What C slot would you run for a Spd/Def Cormag? Thinking of using Earthwind Boost 3 for A and Wyvern Rift for B but i'm unsure on the C slot (current have A/D rein 3). Spd/Def Rein Snap or A/D Oath?
Snap is a really nice supportive option, especially since we do have Oath Echo for the warping effect. It also allows him to enter combat much more easily if needed
I would raise Sophia by one tier, she have lot of new tool since Arcane. She also a quite solid AoE user that bypass most foe Res I think Nanna also got a huge buff since the Arcane staff !
Honestly my only problem with Jorge compared to Ashnard who is very similiar is while Jorge has a lot of support effects, the majority of them don't really matter, Breath is his most important attribute. Whereas with Ashnard the dude refuses to die, and has lull which is extremely valuable for the tanks he supports or is himself. Cause attack reduction as simple as that is, is actually one of the most useful effects a tank can have. Opponent having less attack is > You having more def/res. Def/res are split defenses while attack is not, and a lot more moves generally scale off of attack.
@@ZeShado Looking forward to it! Especially with how the seasons interact with units! Came back to FEH after a long break and I love the game but it's hard to recognize how everything combos together 😅
I run atk Def clash, gambit with aether, deadly miasma and any atk def seal. If you stack up his atk and def enough he can tank most physical units and can deal with Ike pretty well
I think currently his best set would be: His PRF Any Assist Miracle Fort. Def/Res Gambit Snap or Crux A Stat Booster that boosts his HP, Atk, and Def Soaring Echo Personally I find that when Atk/Def Crux drops, it’ll be his best C slot but you could run Spd/Res if you really want the gfu support asap. Snap is also a relatively good support option as well and worst case you can run Guidance/Soaring if you don’t want to run or lack Soaring Echo.
I would run Arcane Qiang, Galeforce, Clash (respective stats vary), Wings of Mercy, Snap/Guidance, and then a stat booster for AR. For SD, I would mostly just swap out Wings of Mercy for Guard Bearing so that they can frontline.
Makes a grail unit lists that's needed for f2p players, but forgets f2p players don't have access to the skills suggested? My only rearmed character is Eitr. The hell you want me to do? Swipe until i get second Ike for Lumera? Get out of here.
I think regardless of the type of unit someone invests into, whether premium or free, it’s going to take some level of investment to get going and I’d argue with the amount of orbs given out each month, it’s entirely possible to get a lot of these skills. Even with the divine code 5 path, there’s a lot of value in there alone that only requires a player to go through the modes each month, and while not always the latest and greatest, it can still be a nice incentivizer for those who want to use more readily accessible heroes.
Dude, I'm f2p too. I started playing this game in july 2023, and I already have 4 +10 grail units with premium skills and 2 demotes +10 also with premium skills. All I have to do was save orbs to good banners.
You'd think castor would be blue bow but after Jorge's refine the devs showed mercy 💀
Gotta at least hand it to IS for making really good bow options

I honestly completely missed him. He would also be in the same area as them
Extremely useful as a cc dancer
Ok, I'm going to build Spring Linhardt +10 next month ✌️🤣🤭

Would you be able to make a video on some team comps at high-level play? Ideally without too many inheritables?
I can definitely do something like that in the future!

Young Frederick is a nice unit. I am probably building him up for general usage.
Where did/would you put Mauvier?
Mauvier I have in decent in AR and SD
@@ZeShado Thx to answer!!!, srry, i was watching the video while i was doing stuf, i didnt saw that
Take a shot every time bro says “with the likes of ---“
You'll never change My mind I'll build Castor and Salem
So sad to see Ursula on Can Work tier :'(
Still I'll always use her
I might start to build Y! Minerva if i can
What makes Larum and Eldigan good in AR?
Ignoring that her prf exists...isn't the best grail user of Basket Zephia?
How is Arete so hight on tier list compared to groom Robin?? 🤨
They’re ranked similarly but if it’s a matter of why Arete is the first one in her respective row, it’s because it’s alphabetical.

I’m so happy to see Arete so high. I simply waiting to get flared sparrow and occultist strike for my plus ten Arete

His PRF

Miracle
Fort. Def/Res
Gambit
Snap or Crux
A Stat Booster that boosts his HP, Atk, and Def
Soaring Echo
