IF you do inhale it, bend over a tire (if you work on planes) and put your head below your torso. You can also just do a hand stand. People dont realize just how heavy it is, and how it will sneak up on you. You get sleepy like with CO, and if you drift asleep, it will stay in your lungs! Every car needs to be equipped with Sulfur-hexa-flouride. It has so many uses! The nice exhaust effect and then the sound of the horn. Would be perfect to have that happen all the time! :D
All sorts of nasty sulfur and fluorine compounds, including sulfuric acid got generated in the intake test. For another experiment, fill a subwoofer box with the sulfur hexafluoride and compare it with helium. And try pure nitrogen and carbon dioxide as the next gasses.
Who here wants to hear Ivan talk after breathing that stuff? I love how he offers it, and Ivan is the first to grab it with a smile like he's going to seriously enjoy it! 😂 Love this channel.
You actually need to have something vibrating, like a human's lips, at the mouthpiece in order to get any real sound out of a brass instrument... So I unfortunately really doubt that would work. But actually I am sure the guys at garage54 could rig up something and make it work lol
@@amicloud_yt A thing of rubber that has a slit on the center of it mounted over the end of the instrument would produce that Vibration , This one thinks.
It might run if you were to use a mixing valve and an oxygen tank, and feed a 20%(oxygen) / 80%(either helium or sulfur-hexafluoride) into the air intake...
You could try getting a custom tank filled at a scuba supply place. They typically do custom mixes for deeper dives to lower the amount of nitrogen that dissolves into the divers lungs. From what I understand they replace the nitrogen with helium. Might work a bit better for trying to get the car to run on helium
I can not remember what the heavy gas is called, but remember to empty the lungs real good or it will stay down in the lungs because it is heavier then air. Some even recommend to sit upside down for a minute after inhaling the gas.

I really enjoy hydrazine, mix it with nitromethane and you have dragster fuel... However, it is carcinogenic.... A lot...
Despite being mostly just goofing around this is actually like a legitimately good science/learning channel. If I have kids someday Garage 54 will be required watching.
@Lassi Kinnunen 81 My point is you could for example put a tank of helium on the car and it would actually just add mass even if the weight changes and seems lighter, the car still has to move the same momentum forwards
@@PeterGriffin-gh8dz Its less downward force on the tires towards the ground but it doesn't reduce the weight to move the momentum forwards backwards or side to side。 Good example look at paramotor vehicles。 They will generate enough lift to take off of the ground, But their speed isn't increased by this because they still have the same weight
Fun Fact: Helium and sulfur hexafluoride have no effect on the vocal cords, diaphragm or whatever is vibrating; the pitch change happens because sound moves faster in helium, which raises the frequency, and moves slower in sulfur hexafluoride, which lowers the frequency.
The sulfurhexafluoride (which it not toxic), decomposes into CO2, SO2F2, SOF2, SOF4, SO2 and H2S when heated over 300°C. What you smelled might have been the H2S or some of the other stuff. Some are very toxic, I wouldn´t just smell them :)
