This is my favourite line in all perfumery along with Serge Lutens. Every single fragrance in this line is an absolute masterpiece without a question. Cheers man!
You think every fragrance in this line is a masterpiece? I'm not buying that. I think waaay too many people are more caught up in what they "think" Chanel represents than what it actually is..
This was so compelling, so seductive so persuasive and obviously so emotional review/description of some of Chanel Les Exclusifs fragrances that was really joy and pleasure to watch ! Excellent video !
@@vincenthusvh a true fragrance enthusiast would compare them similar but fragrantica doesn’t think so. Jersey smells of beautiful lavender very chalky, powdery, and slight creamy. Boy changes quite a bit on the skin for me. They’re both powdery, smell of nice lavender, and both smell musky but different in their own way. I honestly like Jerseys lavender a bit more. But they’re quite similar.
My favourite is the only one I have so far: Le Lion 🦁 I love pretty much all of them and will add quite a few more to the shelf for sure (not for retail for sure 😂) Great video as always João! Obrigado!
I can't distress it enough: Le Lion is a masterpiece 😁 Ahahah I feel you! That retail price is already ridiculous. Thank you so much for stopping by, Tiago! Abraço!
Olá João @ScentedMoments ! Grande canal e excelentes resenhas. Obrigado 🙂
Couldn't agree with you more-- absolutely LOVE this line! I have plenty of time for many of their main line fragrances too. While their recent price increases have been annoying, I do appreciate that they are not frequently releasing/discontinuing fragrances (as appears to be the norm with LVMH-owned luxury/designer brands.) I am happy to forgive them Bleu and Coco Mademoiselle if those fund the creation/release of the likes of Bel Respiro and Le Lion... and protect less 'on trend' (but incredible!) beauties like No. 19 and Cristalle. Thanks for a great video! Loved your choices!
My favorite one is Bel Respiro. I agree that when you smell it then you feel like you are in peace with yourself. I love to wear it in early spring. Can't wait.
Le Lion rocks its my only Chanel Exclusif. The pricing is a put off. I got a 75ml from a local website the owner got it as a gift and was not her type so got it for 50% of the retail
Prices are getting out of hand in perfumery. Tom Ford increased it's prices by €70,- for a 50 ml bottle over the past 2 years. I do love the Les Exclusives of Chanel! So far, i have Sycomore, Boy (my favorite) and Le Lion. I really want to try Jersey though😊
Great review thank you for sharing this with us. I've never tried any of these fragrances but they all sound great! Greetings from Anglesey, North Wales, United kingdom 🙂
I have both Chanel Coromandel 75ml and 200ml bought at Manchester airport. Price there seemed quite cheap compared to buying in Singapore boutique. I love Coromandel but the scent doesn't last. Quite disappointing!
So sad these are so expensive now. They have gone up £75 in the past year. I have Le Likn, CDR, 1957 and Bois Des Isle, I am hoping to get Coromandel before the years out. ❤
Quality products, at an exorbitant price. Chanel's exclusionary pricing I think is motivated as much by maintaining the exclusivity of the brand's cachet as it is by purely maximising profits
Agree 100% on the ridiculous pricing. 3 years ago I could get a 200 ml for €260 at duty free. I can’t convince myself to spend at the current pricing level. It’s becoming a rich man’s sport.
I just picked up a few samples of 1957 & it remninds me of Le Labo’s Tokyo Giaiac 10 just not at “bumble gummy” as Le Labo. I really enjoy the 1957 much more!
Except for 3, to my nose all the Chanel Les exclusifs smell the same and are overdosed with the Chanel aldehydes. At least the other lines have variety
Le Lion and Coromandel are the ones I have... one day I would enjoy having Cuir de Russie. There are several I am not that familiar with- Boy, 1957 etc. I am just not familiar. I can't wait to bust out LL again this Fall! It's so good- and it became my winter signature. For me I get some lemon peel as well.. do you get that? Dried lemon peel?
I have all of the Chanel scents but that’s because I am a lot older than you. I have so many perfumes, both niche and vintage, that it is not a good thing.
I have smelled Cuir De Russie. It smells to me like Ylang Ylang and Mandarin. That's it. I smell no leather. I found it to be a very basic fragrance. I don't understand all the hype around it. Definitely not worth the price they're asking for.
I bought Coromandel. Nice scent, but I'm seriously unimpressed with the performance, or rather the lack of it. On me it becomes a close skin scent in no time. I'm just happy I didn't succumb to the urge to buy the larger, 200 ml., bottle. Extremely overpriced for how it performs. These designers are ripping off the buying public.
Thank god I’m not the only one having problems with Coromandel performance, I thought my nose was broken 😂 I was like how could they charge 400€ for this bottle of watery juice they call edp?? 😢

@@patr70I mean it is his opinion…
Which Serge Lutens fragrance are you referring to?
Do you have a favorite?
1957 & Coromandel are mine favourites from the line. I like Sycomore but I have Encre Noir and they smell similar to me.
I absolutely love 1957! I hope to get my hands on Le Lion at some point.
Such a fantastic fragrance! Le Lion is a must try 👌
Magnificent selection of fragances
Chanel is ...chanel, Le Lion is my absolute favorite
Le Lion, old lady’s fur coat 😲😂🤣
But I like and respect it 🤓
1957, no 18, boy, bois des isle, and bel respiro are fantastic though.

La Pausa is my fav all time, with Beige a close second. I also really like Jersey from this collection on casual days.
Jersey and Boy are hands down my favorite from the line.
How do these two compare? I already got Boy

1 - Le Lion

3 - Coromandel
Great top 3
Coromandel is my next Les Exclusifs as well. With Le Lion being my first. I love Le Lion. This Chanel line is Amazing

We will always have Les Exclusifs 😁
Really appreciate that you enjoyed the video 🙏
I'm also really tempted to try the original releases by the Dior Privee line. Bois d'Argent, Eau Noir and Cologne Blanche sound really nice!
I really like Bois d'Argent, however my experience has been that it simply has little staying power? It seemingly evaporates rather quickly...
@@jeffreylloyd2203it sits closer to the skin in my experience, but it does last about 6hrs on me
Was gonna buy Sycomore but I didn't realize the prices increased so much recently. it's crazy expensive now
Sycomore is number 1! Best thing I've ever smelled
Le Lion, Cuir de Russie, and 1957 are my favorites from Chanel.
La Pausa for me. STUNNING iris, exactly how you describe it.
