I think Vrana would be a good add for non contending team to trade at the deadline. If it doesn't work out, just bury him or whatever. I think a lot of GM's are wary of bringing that into your locker room/culture though.

Just bring him to a team that sucks anyway. Get his value up in a top 6 role and flip him in the deadline for that sweet, sweet loot.

Vrana is not coming back to the nhl. He burned 3 teams already with his addictions

Nick Cousins would be a perfect middle6 center who can play both 2PP and 2PK time. Love the choice.
Jakob Vrana is definitely a risky play from an injury standpoint. Pairing him with a middle-aged core rather than a young core might be more optimal for him.
Daniel Sprong has some value and I’m sure only lasted this long because of Tarasenko and Kane being free agents. Both are gone, and I’m sure Sprong will be signed sooner rather than later.
Oliver Kylington is a buy low candidate on an unimpressive team. He could step into a bottom pairing and work his way up into a top four. Great choice yet again.
Tony DeAngelo, well, that’s certainly a choice. His issue is certainly the one-dimensional offensive game, along with character issues back in NY. If he can prove he’s matured through his play on the ice, I could see a desperate team pay him and enjoy the 1PP guy he is.
Kevin Lankinen, former starter with Chicago, former backup with Nashville (that had Askarov knocking on the door). He’s a guy who can do what Johansson did for Tampa Bay before Vasilevskiy returned from injury. Any team in need of goaltender depth due to injuries, sign this guy now!

Vrana on a one year 775k might be worth a shot. He should head to a Czech league team.

I disagree with your goalie analysis that good goaltending is all you need. Florida with their great defence would have lost to Edmonton without Bob. A lesser goalie would only have to let in one or two extra goals and I think Edmonton would have won. Bob was amazing. You need amazing goaltending to win. Actually Edmonton only had good goaltending that is one reason why they lost.
