Engine size only. The 4520 is a good bit heavier, and heavier built than the 4430. The 4520 has a transmission and rear-end more akin to a 5020 than anything else, whereas the 4430 (more or less) is a progression of the 4020/4320.
You STOLE a 4520 for 4 grand? Good Lord! Dad and I paid twice as much for our '69 model and 1350/1450 4-16" Plow (which BTW we can hoss along in 5th or 6th gear :-D).
That 4520 isn't even breaking a sweat. But it helps when you know how to set up the plow correctly. That's a beast an awesome tractor.
Big field , I like it ! 4520 first turbo tractor for j d . We had 4320 jd!
Thanks for showing the 4520.
Listen at that old beast running! Music to my ears. I LOVED the Gen II tractors. Still a lot of those old hosses out there in the fields at work!

Love the sound of the turbo great video
I think that's the world's longest field!
Nice machine! It was almost dragging the frame on the ground!
they don't make em like that anymore, you show me a newer one in 45 years that still runs like that
How deep are you plowing? We run 8 or 9 inches deep .
what is the difference between a 4520 and a 4620 ?
4620 replaced the 4520. Basically the same engine but
an intercooler was added to the 4620 giving it more hp.
emmjay which didn't help
The 4520 evolved into the 4620, which in turn, evolved into the 4630
Then to a 6030
It was a true beast in it's day!
MultiBaldEagle hardly
Power Shift for the win!
cuando un tractor trabaja de noche por el sunbido del motor se sabe de que marca es
