If we went to India and scammed food banks in India ( if they even exist there that is) and we drive like maniacs drive up insurance rates and fraud claims, bring in familiy members and friends and extended extended family to take over whole companies, then proceed to overstay temporary work visas and feel a sense of entitlement to become full fledged citizens and all the rights associated with it then you will maybe understand why there might be some resentment towards Indians. You only need to ask yourself if non Indian Canadians such as myself tried to pull that same stunt in India how far would I go before getting jailed or beaten up?
Look at how we Indians treat each other. We stare at people when we drive on the road, we never stop to let someone pass nor do we say thank you when someone does. We lie and cheat to our fellow Indians to get our way. Corruption is just another form of not having enough respect for yourself and the other person you're dealing with and we've corruption in plenty in India. We discriminate between each other based on caste and religion. And we're surprised why Indians aren't respected when we travel abroad.
Because you are bringing down the high standard and civility of the Canadian society to the level of the poor hygiene, cheating and corruption found in India.
Best part this is the country emphasizing on humanitarian n equality. What a country full of lies. This is the country who wants to preach about equality to Bharat. Seriously grow up Canada
Can you do a research on how much hate South Indians face when migrating into Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and so on? North east people were getting beaten up in Delhi. Is it sorted now? Thankfully Lungi Bhagao Pungi Bajao Andolan has phased out!
