Once I master the filler parts ima get it
It’s weird because when I speak normal I feel like my pronunciation is on point.
However when it comes to music I feel it sounds off it could be just a self conscious thing or an actual problem not sure. So I break the words down into parts
So yeah the syllable aspect is very important.
That's a good point. When you speak naturally you're not following a set tempo or cadence as we do when rapping. The key is to preserve that naturalness while rapping. Ensuring your giving yourself enough room to enunciate words and stress syllables properly as you would when you're naturally speaking. Also, as I pointed out in this video, pausing plays a big role into something sounding natural as well. Also sometimes we force the phrasing of something too much to chase a cadence pattern or rhyme scheme which can make it sound weird and unnatural. Trust your gut, what you feel like probably right. Just try to pin point what sounds off, then compare that to how it sounds when you're naturally speaking and then try to preserve it when you're rapping. I hope this helps B! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
