With regards to cheesing Eventide Island: I remember seeing someone beat the island without actually setting foot on it, thus allowing them to access the blessing without ever losing their items. I'd say that counts as cheese, though it was REALLY hard to manage, and took a few dozen attempts to actually pull off, so it's not necessarily something you'd want to do - especially since someone else has already done it. Still, it's an option!

The Eldin shrines with fire are particularly silly... It's genuinely sometimes more obvious to just blow the flammable boxes up with bombs or even melee hits rather than the strange fire puzzles. Didn't think of stasis-ing pumpkins at hyperspeed though xD

5:44 yes I got that glitch on the Wii U version but as far as I understand it only happens in that shrine and you can consistently do it by sliding the chest over the floor with the magnesis

Honestly cheesing the shrine puzzles I feel is in the spirit of them, considering. The sheikah don't tell you that your puzzle solving skills in overcoming this trial are befitting a hero, they tell you that your _resourcefulness_ is. Being able to break the rules or circumvent a problem entirely are just as important as being able to solve said problem.
You're familiar with link, hero of hyrule? He could probably do it, so I gotta find a way to harness his power, and I think I've found a way... That's right we're gonna cheat-

@@thatonekidthatdrankglue4214 i went through a entire game of dragon quest builders 2 with joy-con drift before i found out about joy-con drift i just thought it had a spinning idle and hammer recoil when i got new ones i immediately over compensated and broke a wall it feels so WEIRD
The reason that lighting the wood on fire makes it "heavier" is due to the upwards draft it makes, and since something that makes force will push in the opposite direction unless it's held still, it pushes downwards.

Humans will find a way to exploit anything in games. Minecraft server 2b2t and table top DND have fantastic examples. And now here we are, faced with another great one. Pumpkins in an open world.
I think a lot of these were known, but enabled and allowed to stay in by the developers, it really fits well with the tone of the game that you can solve most every puzzle and situation however you see fit.
I love this play through some people might say this is cheesing the puzzles but if I made botw I would love to find people having fun in ways I never even thought of
I’d have to agree on the island being one of the best parts of my first play through, along with the mazes. Besides those, One of my favorite things to do is ride a bear and see the weirdest place I can get to.
Vah Medoh without tilting is a classic that it'd be fun to see you commentate. I...didn't actually know you could tilt the damn thing until after I beat it.
13:10 You can change the controller in the settings to be the Wii U gamepad, and use a program called "BetterJoyForCemu" to use joycons or other switch controllers to get motion controls on Cemu, as well as Dolphin, Citra, Yuzu, etc.

That's crazy. You can also throw your weapons onto the shore before setting foot there to smuggle them onto the island, that would be a little easier.
I believe one of the people I’ve seen do it is Smallant if you ever attempt this!

The reason campfires are so heavy is probably because they need to be stationary and anchor to the ground.

Great video! Another trick is sometimes backfliping away from things your trying to stasis launch with will have a similar effect to the bomb trick
