My company enticed me out of retirement because they could not find a replacement. Upon my return, I was on a conference call at my desk. A young woman with a walki-talki stood by with the volume up and I could not hear my conversation. Three times I asked her to turn it down without a reaction. Finally, I tapped her shoulder to gain her attention. She gave me a dirty look and ran away. Sometime later I found myself suspended for one workday....she had run directly to HR to complain. I was with the company for 20+ plus years, the young lady for one week. She quit her job two weeks after our incident.
This is but one example of the new GENZ DEI workplace promulgated by the likes of Dr. Jana. God help us, this generation is so weak.

A little back story on me - I’m a 39 year old white guy who started off at a temp service (temporarily employed) at a warehouse in 2004 and was promoted to upper management by 2009. I did every shit job you could imagine. I’m a lower corporate tier guy and I’m treated very fairly because of the hard work I put in when needed or if I see an employee needing help or if the work load is simply it too much. I will go on the floor and do the shit job for them while they do the next task. Even tho I’m on the floor I still report directly to HR as the director is my boss. I remember years ago I had 1 guy who was with a temp service and he was black but damn he busted his ass as a temp and we would work side by side. One of the best temps I ever met. My boss fought my on hiring him as full time employee and taking him out of the temp service. One guy told me....anyone who is 40 years old and black be careful. That was my first time hearing that and it kinda threw me. I finally got my and got him hired on. Once I got him on full time he was the worst mistake of my life! Couldn’t do anything extra and talking 1/2 hr breaks and 1 hr lunches. Long story short I found out he was going behind my back to my boss with false claims of harassment and my boss never believed a single thing he said. I ended up having to fire him, then the guy goes to the EEO office and tries to sues me personally and sues the company. He lost both cases in federal court, I think they offered him $3000.00 just to go away but he rejected it so needless to say he still lost in court. My only message to people is be careful as you never know who is who. It still kinda pisses me off as he has no idea how much I stood up for him and what it took to make him an employee. MY BOSS SEEN SOMETHING I DIDNT! As far as white privilege goes I never experienced it. We didn’t come up rich!

True story: a woman asked me to go out with her, said she just wanted me in her bed. I told this woman very nicely that I wanted nothing to do with her. Same woman goes to the boss and says that I sexually harassed her. Tried to get me fired and cause my wife to get mad at me. Yes I am married and the other woman knew that. In the end she got fired but not before they had to send me home and investigate the situation and thankfully one of the other guys were there when she came up to me and told the bosses the truth.
