tricot are a Japanese Math Rock quartet who write bubbly tunes with a restless energy propelled in forward motion. They pair ping-ponging riffs with round style vocals in a quirky, experimental framework to make for technically satisfying music you can move your feet to.
Recorded on June 14, 2018 in Chicago, IL.

The fact that they can play music that sounds both chaotic and structural is mind blowing. On top of that, the vocals are very expressive. High quality all around.

Can you tell me the time signatures for each verse. I am learning math rock, and it's hard. I can't count the right time signatures for the verses. I thought it was 12/8 but seems I was wrong
@@YFA_02 Verses are 15/8, chorus is 4/4, although there are some slight variations throughout the song.

Can it be said that the audiotree version is better than the original. Something about the older production makes it really hard for me to get into it. Which sucks cause I love how song sounds here.

@@ddustin it’s the production and sound most likely audiotree usually has really good soundchecks and mics
yeah, this makes a huge difference. I don't particularly like the quality of their production, mixing and mastering wise, but here you can see that they're so good musicians that they get better playing live with a professional sound setup.

@@j.ccamarillo8945 this reply is a year too late lol, but it's basically the "ping-pong" effect that you get when 2 guitars (on the left and right side) are playing back and forth. You can hear it on the verses

I love everything about this lol! But I don't think this bad ass drummer gets a lotta love. Gotta love the raw heartbeat and punch of this band! The harmonization is off the charts too lol!

I think the verse is 15/16 , at least that's how i do it on the drums..the chrous is just 4/4
