    This is truly remarkable! This whale is so curious and gentle at the same time, as if it is conscious of it own massive strength. Wonderful creatures!

    At least one good thing came out of giving every single person a camera. We have gotten so many amazing videos of this kind of stuff we would have never believed to have existed. Amazing!

    How the whale gave the paddleboarder a tiny little push so gentle, as if to say "come on let's play" I could have watched this for hours mesmerizing!!!!

    This encounter is so amazing. I would have been sitting there awestruck I think. It has to be scary when something that large is that close to you. It really makes you understand how small humans are. Amazing.

    Her interview, if you can find it, will bring a tear to your eyes. Her buddy couldn't get any good photos, they said. Then one of them said, "There's a drone," and she also stated that she didn't feel fear, and that it was her birthday!

    When I was a kid in the early 70’s, I saw footage of whales and thought these look nothing like the pictures of whales (that appear in kids’ media.) They might as well have been magical creatures as I was unprepared to be so awestruck.

    My lifelong dream, to dive with southern right whales.
    The whales of tge world migrate North to South at the same time of year. Never crossing the equator, never meeting.
    The northern right whale was hunted to extinction along the eastern seaboard, like the passenger pigeon and nearly the bison.
    As agent Smith said," humans are a virus....."

      I imagined the size of this whale and myself on a small board far from the shore.
      I guess my heart would be pounding very hard. I would be afraid.
      But... if I saw him gently pushed me on this board, maybe I would have the strength to hum something nice?
      Many animals love to hear melodies. (you know even bees?)

      Faroe Islands.watching this puts into perspective how wrong it is to harpoon them.They bleed out and die slowly when harpooned.They thrash their tail fin wildly to try to free themselves.A piece of you will die if you see a video of it.Japanese Whaling must be stopped by International Law!!!!

    I commented on this same video sometime back and you should have seen two of the replies I got. They were weird and very strange. Had nothing to do with what I said. So if you get the same weirdos replying don't be surprised. Anyway I thought this was fabulous and incredible and would give a lot to experience the same thing even though I'd have my heart in my throat.
