You met people who were helpful to you because they could understand you are a nice person. (And I was once on a job shooting in Cuba and photographing an old mansion. I struck up a conversation with a man who was a caretaker and we chatted for awhile. He then said to me "follow me" like your buddhist monk, and brought me to an area that was off limits and so beautiful. I still remember how kind that man was to me.
How strange that 30 in Thai (sǎam sìp) sounds very similar to 30 in Korean (삼십). That's amazing. I also hear it sometimes from Thai variety shows and I cannot believe it at first that there are some similarities.

저같은 사람 여기 또 있네요 ㅋㅋ 저도 2010년에 썽테우 가이드북에 있는 가격보다 더 비싸다고 안타고 군 시절의 행군(?)을 경험을 떠올리면 무작정 올라가다 힘들어 히치하이키 하다 우돈타니에서 오신 고등학교 선생님들 썽테우 얻어타고 올라갔었죠 그분들 덕분에 소수민족 마을도 구경했었죠 😅 더 아름다워 진 것 같네 도이수텝 사원 막상 보니 그립습니다.
