Nice. I also follow this bike riding couple from Japan (Two Wheel Cruise) and they did the same thing and stayed in Chiang Mai for several months waiting for Vietnam to open (where the wife is originally from). Anyway, I think they stayed in first class on that same train, complete with train tour and station tour. I wish the Philippines had something similar. Can’t wait to see your adventures there. Lol maybe get a cool folding bike as well to get around…A Brompton or some reasonably priced copy like a Mobot. Anyway, safe travels.
