Love the Beechraft but I must say the Piper M350 has been my dream aircraft since they first came out long ago still with the 310 hp engine . Piper meridian I think. Thank you Roxanne

Vortex generators, coatings that can be applied to paint to make the surfaces very slick, engine exhaust modifications increasing horsepower and the like.

Given the cost of these planes, its amazing there are know certified turbine engines to replace the piston engines. Beyond the weight saving, there are maintenance savings and fuel savings for longer journeys. Less weight and a turbine can mean a performance leap for small aircraft.
