I always preferred Evolution Scarlet Witch. The Goth look was perfect for someone with that kind of power, the attitude of being distant was parallel to that of Quicksilvers invasion of everybodys space, and the fact that she was the polar opposite to her twin brother. Quicksilver was happy, cheerful, energetic and as stated, invaded people's personal space. While SW was more distant, angry, depressing and avoided most social contact.

Yeh, early on when they were writing comics, they kinda spoonfed things to the audience. I always found it odd, that Magneto would name his group like that, then claim that what he wanted was a good thing for the world.
There was a scene in one of the X-men comics where Cyclops points that out to Mystique and she answers that it is meant to be ironic. It's along the lines of, "You call us evil, okay then, we'll be 'evil'."
Because both Wanda and Pietro were saved by Magneto they both felt honor bond to repay the debt. Magneto choose they join him as the way to repay that debt. During their time in the Brotherhood, they never did anything to harm anyone, just enough not to anger Magneto.
While Quicksilver does look absolutely horrible in DoFP, saying a studio will do a comic character better than Fox is not a compliment. Just means it's not as bad as it could possibly be.
Our last hero You don't know that just because the outfit sucks doesn't mean shit. Fox has a much better chance of getting it right because they can actually use the characters how they are suppose to be used take out the mutant and kids of Magneto aspect and the characters are alot less intresting. Wanda and Peitro were born in The High Evolutionary's castle in the Swiss Alps and their mother was a Roma. Her name was Magda. At the same time The Whizzer and his wife, Miss America (contemporaries of Cap and Bucky from WW2) were there to have their baby. Which also were twins. They however were deformed and died shortly after birth. Magda disappeared and Bova (a genetically evolved cow) delivered both sets of twins. Miss America also died from complications so Bova brought Wanda and Peitro to The Whizzer to pass them off as his children. In his grief at loosing his wife he ran off and Bova took them to the Gypsies and gave them to an older, childless couple... the Maximoffs. Whether or not, from the comics I read in the late 70's, early 80's, they ever found out WHO their father was. They did know who their mother was.
I dislike the retcon they made about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver not being Magneto's children and not being mutants because there are plot holes like being detectable by Cerebro as mutants. My explanation perhaps it was Scarlet Witch's power making the lie a truth? It also begs the question what happened to his true child, and did it survive and are they a mutant?

In X-Men, she's the villain. In Avengers, she's the hero (well, became anti-hero after Avengers Disassembled and House of M ending). I was actually surprised when I saw Scarlet Witch on the good guys in Super Hero Squad Show due to X-Men: Evolution being the show that introduced me to her. That or reading a forum thread about Bendis ruining Scarlet Witch, the first mutant Avengers along with her brother. Then the mutants as outcast become less relevant after that, especially Cannonball and Sunspot came along.

You really should've differentiated the ultimate universe from the original one in this video. The twincest only happened in ultimate, If you consider that an important part to her story, why not mention she died, along with Wolverine, almost every X-men, Magneto, and Spiderman?

I'm a bit confused. If the Scarlet Witch wasn't really a bad person and didn't want to cause harm, didn't the name of the group that she joined, namely, the "Brotherhood of EVIL Mutants" tip her off as to the group's intentions?
Yeh, early on when they were writing comics, they kinda spoonfed things to the audience. I always found it odd, that Magneto would name his group like that, then claim that what he wanted was a good thing for the world.
There was a scene in one of the X-men comics where Cyclops points that out to Mystique and she answers that it is meant to be ironic. It's along the lines of, "You call us evil, okay then, we'll be 'evil'."

Because both Wanda and Pietro were saved by Magneto they both felt honor bond to repay the debt. Magneto choose they join him as the way to repay that debt. During their time in the Brotherhood, they never did anything to harm anyone, just enough not to anger Magneto.

While Quicksilver does look absolutely horrible in DoFP, saying a studio will do a comic character better than Fox is not a compliment. Just means it's not as bad as it could possibly be.

Fox has a much better chance of getting it right because they can actually use the characters how they are suppose to be used take out the mutant and kids of Magneto aspect and the characters are alot less intresting. I appreciate actually using clips from X-Men Evolution as that's where I first found out about The Scarlet Witch character. And from what I've seen it's the only X-Men TV series to actually really delve into her craziness which I think is going to be a big factor of Avengers 2.
Comics Scarlett Witch is probably the most sexualized character I've ever met, even in young avengers when she's supposed to have a motherly aura. Good thing MCU made her decent.

Wanda and Peitro were born in The High Evolutionary's castle in the Swiss Alps and their mother was a Roma. Her name was Magda. At the same time The Whizzer and his wife, Miss America (contemporaries of Cap and Bucky from WW2) were there to have their baby. Which also were twins. They however were deformed and died shortly after birth. Magda disappeared and Bova (a genetically evolved cow) delivered both sets of twins. Miss America also died from complications so Bova brought Wanda and Peitro to The Whizzer to pass them off as his children. In his grief at loosing his wife he ran off and Bova took them to the Gypsies and gave them to an older, childless couple... the Maximoffs. Whether or not, from the comics I read in the late 70's, early 80's, they ever found out WHO their father was. They did know who their mother was.

I dislike the retcon they made about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver not being Magneto's children and not being mutants because there are plot holes like being detectable by Cerebro as mutants. My explanation perhaps it was Scarlet Witch's power making the lie a truth? It also begs the question what happened to his true child, and did it survive and are they a mutant?

I was actually surprised when I saw Scarlet Witch on the good guys in Super Hero Squad Show due to X-Men: Evolution being the show that introduced me to her. That or reading a forum thread about Bendis ruining Scarlet Witch, the first mutant Avengers along with her brother. Then the mutants as outcast become less relevant after that, especially Cannonball and Sunspot came along.
