    Girl! One word Comes to mine when I think of you…INSPIRATIONAL. The fact that you lost only a few pounds a month and then some months you didn’t lose any! I was started to feel discouraged but this just inspired me to keep going!

    Love how REAL you are. So glad I found you earlier this year. I am 38 and petite (4’9”) so 132 was not cute on me lol. I have been slowly cutting with you. I am 124 and working to reach my pre-pregnancy weight from child #2 of 118. Incorporating the hour walks have been an absolute game changer! Much love ❤ from Georgia!

      @WhitakersWay ❤. It’s a mindset shift for sure. On average it’s only been like 2lbs a month. Very slow. But the main thing I’ve been doing is eating at least 70-90g of protein a day and walking with my weight vest so I don’t lose muscle too much. You’ve got this!

    Thank you for this! I’ve been working with a dietician for a year on my weight loss and really learning a lot around hunger/food choices/workouts from her. Your channel is one of the few I can watch now and really agree with. So many say no cardio just weights or don’t talk about changing the intensity in order to curb your hunger and stay in a deficit. Thank you for sharing, it really helps on this journey!

      @KeshaCollins I am learning to treat this like lifestyle like a flexible formula (deficit, gym and at home circuits) but staying consistent daily. Shoot, I am 57 and struggle with food deficits, but by doing 30 minutes minimum daily, I am still losing (slowly) and shaping. I have gotten my weight routines from your content early on! We have a similiar goal weight…I too have lost 20lbs…41 and had PCOS since 2010..keto and intermittent fasting is what works for me….ive had my fun days and outings but focusing on high protein and lots of veggies is whats working for me currently!!! Strength training and OTF 3x a week 💪🏾

    Have you ever done a water or dry fast? I think it helps with food noise, fast for at least 3 days and even your taste buds change for the better. It will clear your mind and while fasting you will realize how often you eat when you're not even hungry... it has mental and spiritual benefits on top of the physical benefits.

      I personally would never do a fast. I’m sure it can be great for others. But as a former binge eater, and anyone who struggles with binge eating definitely shouldn’t be fasting 🙏🏾.

    At the end when you said you do cardio 3-4x a week on the stairmaster plus the hour walk outside, do you do both of those each day you workout? I really appreciate this video i also have PCOS and this gives me hope and a lot of inspiration! Its time i start getting serious again about weight loss ❤ also im loving pesto eggs lately!
    Edit: also do you have a specific video about bulking? More behind the calories, protein/carbs macros and exercises you used to gain muscle?

      Cardio is 4-5x a week for me. 3-4 days is stairmaster and only 1 day is cardio for an hour outside. The day I’m walking for an hour, that’s all I’m doing for that day. But when I’m doing the stairmaster, that’s on days where I am also lifting weights. If that makes sense.
      And when it comes to bulking all I do is eat more calories. So on the tdee website that I mentioned, where you are able to find out your cutting calories, there is also a section to find out bulking calories. So I eat more, continue to lift weights, and do way less cardio.

    To clarify your typical workout regime 30 minute circuit + 30 minute cardio + 1 hour outdoor walking 3-4 times a week?

      Typical: weight training 3-4x per week 1hr-1.5hr + 30 minutes of cardio (total gym time 1.5-2hr). 1x outdoor walking 1hr.
      For one month I did exactly what you mentioned, and I’ll be doing the exact same this month. But I could absolutely still lose weight doing only the circuit training, spending less time in the gym. I just really enjoy weight training even though it does take up more time.

    I’m a gym newbie. I started going to the gym in May 4-5days/week(151 lbs 29.8 BMI hips 44”), mostly strength training. Now I’m 161.4 31.7 BMI hips 46”😬 so I guess I am bulking? My goal was to get juicier glutes & tone body so I guess I should start cardio & cutting now?

    Would definitely love a circuits video! I’m in my circuit era myself. I haven’t really been wanting to do too much heavy weights and I do feel like I lost more weight doing circuit trainings as well! I need to lose about 20lbs myself. I’m 184 & want to get down to 166ish but still remain toned etc

    I have followed you for years before you met your man on IG. I love your drive and realness. Your skin is glowing! Hair is vibrant! You look bomb!! I’m 38, 5’4 and getting back to my desire weight of 150-155. What you said is real about the weight not looking or feeling the same. I’m at 177. I was as high as 198 this beginning of 2024. I’m looking for a new gym since moving into LA from LB. But, I think it’s better I build my own in my house cause I can’t find what I want. Equinox feels like a car note 😆🤣 okay, that’s it!

      @@simpleme5719 No one knows what they are doing in the beginning. You start, and figure out on the way. And if you don’t feel comfortable with that, you can always hire a trainer to help.

    I feel like bulking for PCOS girlies is never a good idea. It rarely works out for the better. We should just increase weight training, protein, fiber and go from there.

    Love your videos. Do you think circuits helped with weight loss or it was just the timing that you dropped the most weight?

      It just so happened that that month I was the most consistent with my diet. But I also think spending less time in the gym helped with my hunger. So because I wasn’t working out as hard, I wasn’t eating as much that month.

    I find it difficult to not get overwhelmed by all the planning ahead that comes with lifestyle change. I have never kept up with intentional dieting for longer than two weeks,esp along with exercise. Do you have any advice as to what keeps you motivated each day, what holds you accountable to reaching your small term goals?

      @@mammy4ya When I first started I didn’t try to change everything at once. I also didn’t overthink it. I just picked something small to start with and stuck with that until it because a habit. For example, going on a walk 3-4 times per week, or making my bed every morning, or going to bed before 10pm. I focused on one thing, not a billion things at once, and then slowly added new habits.
      Also when it comes to motivation or consistency, I looked at my life/body, things that I was constantly complaining about, and I had a serious talk with myself. Like, you are literally the only one that can change your own life, no one else is going to do it for you. So are you going to continue to complain and be unhappy about it, or are you going to show up even when you don’t want to. 🙏🏾

      I stopped training a few years back, because I was no longer able to dedicate the time. I won’t go back to in person/virtual training.. but I do plan on figuring out another solution.

    Not being rude just curious? How come you keep losing and bulking? Are you trying to find something in between that’s sustainable?

      @@Queen_pillowtop Great question! But it’s all about muscle mass. I want to put on more size, but more size when it comes to muscle. I have a video sharing my entire fitness journey, but I used to have zero curves. The bulking and cutting throughout the years, has been me putting on muscle in order to build the curves that I have today, then the cutting is me dropping the excess fat that also comes with bulking.
      For people who have been lifting for a very long time, it’s much harder to put on muscle mass. Therefore going into a bulk is needed. It’s not the only way, but it speeds up the process a bit more. This was my final bulk, so moving forward it will all be about maintaining.

    How do you get the tummy so flaaaatt after bulking?! That’s my main struggle right there; even with proper nutrition I feel like it won’t leave. 0 kids

      Unfortunately we can’t choose where we lose body fat first. For me I carry majority of weight in my thighs and arms, so in order to slim those areas done I have to lose a significant amount of weight. But with my genetics I lose weight in my stomach first. So you will have to continue to lose body fat until it eventually comes off of your mid section.
