This is part of the "old tech" that due to the lack of strength in fireball game has been forgotten, or people not fully aware of... thanks for sharing !!!
@@Zeus_Sama Is ok that you re-discover some stuff, that people take for granted, So they can adjust game or at least explain to others why are doing that as part of a strategy Is better to say "old tech" than fundamentals. Fundamentals scare ppl away to watch it, because they take for granted they know the information I appreciate your effort to do this for us all !!! thank you very much again !!!
Thank you for the constant great content! Any chance on a series of matchup tips against different characters, even maybe reviewing some of your matches as a shoto against those characters to show how you approach the matches. Also maybe matchup tips against play styles
@@thapeloafrika6459 i'm making the dummy wait by crouching then making the dummy jump later. While im making the dummy wait im thinking of the timing of two fireballs and then have the dummy jump when i think the second fireball is coming. Needs a little messing around before u get the exact timing u need. As an alternative u can make the dummy Ryu instead and make him do fb fb mpdp. U can then jump on the 2nd fireball and get dp'd or see if u can win the jump in
Excellent video! By any chance, would you happen to have any advice on how to perform the "Unmoving Fireball" technique with a fireball that requires a charge?
The 3f gap works with Ken aswell and he can get the mpdp but it's more effective with Ryu because he has better fireball game. Fireballs are one of Kens weaker points but this can be done with him aswell

Yeah totally i was surprised most people didn't already know this otherwise i probably would have covered it very early like se1 or se2

@@Zeus_Sama Blessed! BTW how are you recording the dummy to jump on guard recovery, my recording doesn't say 'reversal' when i try jump?

If you mean like Guiles booms it should work in a similar way.
Can you apply this same method with Ken ?
No
Ken's fireball's are different from Ryu
Yes also Akuma and Sagat aswell

Its depressing how weak kens fireballs are, he even let Sakura catch up to him, got to quit that job and take training serious again.
